Fairly poor apart from a couple of classics.
This album is just poor, there’s only a few tracks I like.

Orchestral disco at its best. A fusion of jazz
The legendary MFSB, house band behind all those Gamble & Huff Philly International hits. Orchestral disco at its best. A fusion of jazz, disco, soul, big band & classical elements topped by those lush strings and delivered by the top session men of the day. It doesn't get any better than this. The compilation is drawn from every MFSB album and a few tracks that appeared only on 45. All those classic tracks are here- TSOP, Love Is the Message both featuring the Three Degrees on vocals. Also included is Sexy, Mysteries of the World K Jee and their fantastic version of Elton John's 1975 Billboard Hot 1110 hit Philadelphia Freedom. The one track missing that would've topped it off for me is their version of Diana Ross 1973 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Touch Me In the Morning". The lush Philly sound is crisp and clear in this remastered collection. Music at its best. Buy it!
