I decided to buy a couple of these because I’ve been fed up with mechanical timers for my Christmas lights for years. You basically have to approximate when you want them to come on and when you want them to shut off. When I received these, I realized I could use these to control more than just Christmas lights. I ended up buying six of these. No problems in connecting, no problems in programming and I like the fact each of the three sockets can he programmed independently. They work great!

This remote socket worked fine with the phone app and alexa for about 2 weeks. Then, it just stopped working. I am unable to get it to respond or to re-program. I seldom write reviews, but I thought that my experience with this product might be of interest.

So far this item is terrific! I bought it a coupe weeks ago to use on the balcony. I love that the item as a whole can be controlled as well as the individual outlets. I have used the app a few times but primarily just use Alexa to control the device. I had a little confusion with Alexa at first because I named the device as whole and one of the outlets the same name so Alexa kept having multiple items by the same name and I was unable to control them but ended up figure out that it was my fault and all is fixed now.

Missing Install Info: After installing the Annhome app and discovery of the smart socket, you must name each of the 3 sockets by clicking on each of the very tiny pencil icons. If you don’t name them, Echo only discovers the one device. Outside that missing info...it’s GREAT!

For starters, I have been in IT for 20 years but after 3 days of trying to get this to connect to my Echo Dot, I gave up. It would be OK with just the app if not for for one thing, WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT A LIGHT TIMER THAT ONLY TURNS ON LIGHT BUT NOT OFF???? Really? Did someone forget to bring their brain to work today???

I’m complementing this device on two parts. First the device is really easy to setup. It’s pretty straight forward with the app. The second is that my initial device failed after about a month’s usage. It started to make a weird clicking sound and I couldn’t connect anymore to WiFi. I emailed the company with my issue and within the same day, they responded quickly to the problem. They immediately shipped out a replacement device. So great customer service!

This is an awesome product, super simple to use, setup couldn't be easier. It makes me want to plug in more things on my patio because I now have the capacity. I currently only use it for a string of lights but it works so well and I love being able to use Alexa to turn on the patio lights even before I go outside.

I bought this as a controller for two older landscape controllers that had manual timers on them. I love this WiFi connection where I can turn the light on and off whenever we have company over to use the pool or to have a party.
