Straight Shot Reticle Leveler MK-III

This works pretty well if you do not have a flat spot on your rifle/pistol.and assures you it's level.Following that, align the scope with the markings.I wonder why, after so many years of production they recently added a level--no brainer.An easy old "double check" for vertical on the scope is aiming at a dark weighted string or the line generated from a laser level for horizontal after the firearm is level.

Quality product thats easy to use and works as advertised.

A good way to level out a non-competition/precision scope. It leaves much to be desired, but a fast way to get a scope on nevertheless.

Tried several different set ups, not the precise tool I had hoped for. Was hard for me to view the scope reticle and line up the horizontal lines on the item. I did however like the built in level. Used it to make sure my action was level during scope mounting.

This product is great in theory, but it is a failure in application. I read the directions and followed them exactly, and I feel that I did use this product as it is intended. Despite that, I still had crooked cross-hairs. The problem seems to be somewhere in how one has to "eyeball" the cross-hairs and compare them to the lines on the Segway. This cannot be accomplished by shouldering the rifle in a shooting position (as I thought before ordering this), but rather by putting one's chin on back of the stock and looking straight down the gun. This only allows for focusing on either the cross-hairs or the Segway, but not both. At best, this product can get a scope close to being level, but definitely not precise.

This thing is great and sooooo simple and easy to use,I wish I would have thought of it But it on the gun, the leveler come apart, put the rubber band on to hold it and adjust the crosshairs on the scope, the take it off and go zero the rifle in! SIMPLE!

Bought that because of a review on chuck hawks' website.Maybe my eye sight is not that flexible, but i really struggled to allign the horiz.crosshairs with its sidelines. Did ( rather tried to do) 2 scope mounting jobs with it and gave it then away . Classic allignment with levels or a vertical line on wall or horizontal/level scope bottom works as well or better.Seems to be one of those devices which no one really needs but which are massively advertised and recommended by so called specialized magazines/websites, who need advertizing clients from the industry, at any price...

I had better results with this reticle leveler than the spirit level kit. While Wheeler will balance the turrets to the receiver, this tool balances the actual reticle with the receiver, which is probably more ideal.
