I'm useless at curling my own hair, I usually end up with burnt ears and fingers, my hair is straight and thin, I washed and towel dried my hair, sprayed saying spray on each part whilst wrapping around the curler, I left in overnight, took them out the following morning and hair was super curly. I used just over half of the curlers but my hair is very fine and just past my shoulders, depending on hair thickness or style you may need more or less. Would recommend.

I have read some reviews on these prior to use, so armed with the pros and cons, I proceeded to dampen my granddaughter's hair and apply the rollers. You do need to use something reasonably tight fitting (not a hair net) to keep them in place, as they do tend to unravel if left loose. The bonus is that they do not damage your hair, and are reasonably comfy to sleep in, and they give lovely soft waves, tighter if you use setting lotion and twist the hair before curling up.
