This is so much fun! I purchased this particular camera based on the reviews. I was looking for a camera so I could see my dogs (I have two Chihuahuas and a Blue Heeler mix) when I go on vacation and my daughter would be watching the dogs for us. This camera has great visuals - very clear picture. I am still trying to figure out the best place to have the camera, as I want it low enough that if my dog wants to put her nose near the camera, she can, but not so low that it might get eaten by the youngest of the three pups, one of the Chihuahuas. I love the two-way talk feature, love the panning ability of this camera, and love that you can set the app to notify you of movement.The app is pretty cool, too. Easy to set up and connect with your WIFI, just make sure you are only on a 2.4 ghz WiFi network. When you go into the settings of the app, do NOT turn on face recognition - it crashes the app constantly. Had to figure this out the hard way, installing and uninstalling the app probably ten times before I figured out what was crashing the app.

A friend recommended this camera when I asked about a reasonably priced video monitor. It boasts a simple set-up and I'm a rather tech savvy person so I thought there wouldn't be any issues. Unfortunately I tried setting it up from my iPhone using the Brobot app and could not get it to fully connect. I kept getting stuck halfway through the process because the camera would connect to wifi but the app would not recognize the camera and connect. I was about to return the stupid thing, but I do have a android tablet so I thought I should see if the set up on android might work. BINGO! I was able to set it up on my android device in under five minutes. Once I had it connected to one device, I was able to get the UID code and connect it to my iPhone.I'm sure some of you are wondering why I didn't just use the ethernet cable it supposedly comes with and set it up wired? Because it does not come with an ethernet cable, in fact it doesn't even have a place on the camera to plug a normal ethernet cable in. So I'm not sure if there are different models or the manufacturer just forgot to update the description and contents card.Even with the issues, once set up its a great little camera monitor hence the 4 stars overall. But if you are not a tech savvy person then I would go with something a bit more user friendly.UPDATE 6/19/19We got a new Wifi router at our house so I had to go back and reconnect my brobot cam. The support website is no longer functioning, I keep getting warnings from Chrome and my firewall that the brobot site is not secure. So basically now my camera is useless because I can't actually connect it to the new wifi.I have a Wyze camera for another part of our house and I'm going to buy another to replace the brobot. Wyze camera's connect with my Alexa devices.

This thing sucks! I work with technology all day long as part of an IT department, and this setup and application are not intuitive or easy to use. It took several attempts over a few weeks to finally get the camera set up correctly by following the provided instructions. Once it finally detected the QR code on my phone and connected to my WiFi, I was able to see and hear the room. However, there's a tremendous amount of lag and freezing in the video quality. And, it randomly disconnects from the camera while I'm at work. So, I can't reconnect without being on the same WiFi network, and it continues to ask me for my username and password over and over again, regardless of whether I enter the correct information or not. There's no error message to help with troubleshooting and nothing that indicates how you can reconnect. This thing is garbage, and if it were within the 30-day return period, I would absolutely return it. I'm happy to spend more money on something else of a higher quality that actually works.

This is a really great camera. I check in on my pets throughout the day. I can hear what's going on in my house. I love it!! The audio is 2 way. The night vision is awesome. It even activates if the room is a little dark. I had a minor issue. The video would only work when connected to WIFI. There isn't much to the website, but there is a chat option. The customer service is outstanding!! Extremely helpful and willing to assist any time of the day. Turns out, my phone (galaxy s9) has a default APN setting for only IPv6. This camera uses IPV4. Easy fix. Switch your APN to IPv4/IPv6. Now it's perfect. Connects instantly no matter where I am. I can be 5 minutes from home or 5 hours, and I can check on my house. I'm super happy I made this purchase. This is a great deal. I've seen others on Amazon for 5 times the price. If you're in the market for a security/surveillance/baby cam/pet cam/super obsessed with watching your house/things/pets/kids/grandma...BUY THIS! You won't regret it.

Very versatile baby cam that can be put to a variety of uses. I use it primarily to monitor my two pets and it works brilliantly providing me with visual and audio access from anywhere. The camera is really full featured with many practical functions including two way audio, zoom and pan, motion sensor, night vision and more. The combination of these features makes this product an amazing value for money. The setup was very easy using the dedicated app and I am super happy with my purchase.
