Mercer Culinary Hell's Tools Hi-Heat Mixing Spoon, 12 Inch, Tan

This is the spoon we use in my culinary classes, they provided us with one and I was so impressed that I ordered 8 more, it’s very resilient.

I got them because my white spoons were always stained red from tomato products. These are extremely sturdy. The only thing I might change would be to make the handle a bit thicker and the bowl part a bit bigger.

Having not metallic spoons is a must with coated cookware. Thought I'd try this spoon based on reviews. Buyer beware as I feel many of the reviews are nothing more than influencers. The spoon stirs but it is not good for mixing. The design of the bowl traps powder of a mix and you have to scrape out the spoon bowl. Okay for mixing homogenous liquids. The colors are pretty, it will not damage coated cookware and it is good for high temp applications but so are my olive wood spoons. I'd not purchase again. Just my honest opinion. I have two of them now. They will be lonely in the spoon drawer and probably end up being donated as I do need to reduce my over stocked drawers in the kitchen.

I enjoy Mercer's whole line of hells products and this spoon is no different. It is dishwasher safe and made from a material that will last for years. Well worth the little money you spend. Only downside is that the scoop is on the smaller side.

Sturdy and well I used this style of spoon in catering college and didn't realise how much I missed it. Better than wood as it doesn't stain! Good for everything to be honest.With regards to others stating it isn't suited to high heats, I have had no issues whatsoever. With many kitchen utensils, how many can you leave unattended? I think most things will end up damaged with careless cooking practices.A bad craftsmen blames his tools.Absolutely love this.

I just love Hell's Tools for they are well made & very functional. The plastic finishing is impeccable, very smooth & no scratchy edges on surface. I also love all the different colours. I could get different colours for each tool, so it's easy to find the right tool in my big kitchen tool containers. Will be looking for more Hell's Tools as they go on sale, with intention to replace all my kitchen tools with this brand. Highly recommend.
