works great as long as the lip on the bowl is not too big. Works better on smaller bowls (e.g. 5-6" diameter), and if they are larger you just need to be a little careful about loading the outside egg slots first. Separates the yolk and white efficiently and makes the job repeatable and easy!

This worked fairly well for me- but you have to be careful to use the separator furthest away from the clip first, otherwise the whole thing may tip over, which would not be helpful at all. Also I find the clip kind of useless- if your bowl has any sort of lip, the clip won't attach to it, or it will attach but the separator will attach at a big incline. I still use it, and it was certainly not expensive, which I appreciate.

needed this when making cake that use lots of egg yolks or just the white part. Love the bright yellow color too!

Does the job and well

this product seems to do what it was designed to do...separate the egg/yolk. Although, they do not include instructions as to how to raise chickens to hatch eggs, nor do they specifically discuss various proven methods to extract the egg/yolk combo... They must have assumed that you have an IQ that is higher than plant life? Look, you can operate an egg without this...if you have a volume of eggs, this is handy dandy. Yes, I said "handy dandy". Enjoy.

The clip isn't designed well. The slits in the sides are too big and your yolks end up in the bowl anyway. Not a fan. I do no suggest this product.

I am afraid of avidin in egg whites. I don't even eat cooked egg whites because I do not personally believe that cooking destroys avidin. My humble opinion. I am afraid they destroy Biotin even when cooked. I seperate all eggs and throw the whites away. Google Biotin and egg whites and you will understand why I use an egg seperator and ban egg whites from my life. Read the labels for egg whites in your food. And for Pete's sake buy Organic on amazon grocery.

Using this was a hassle until I figured out how to use the clamp properly. It clamps onto Corelle bowls, but it's not always secure. Once in a while the clamp will slide off of the bowl, but most times it stays put. The size of the holes have prevent all but one egg yolk from sliding through. It's performed much better than the OXO egg separator keeping the yolk in the pouch. It's very convenient being able to separate three eggs in one go.
