It kept falling off the shower wall. Had to send it back.

This bar was easy to install and feels quite firm when attached to the tile wall of my shower. I wasn't sure it would work initially since my tiles had a slight texture, but the large suction cups seemed to be able to hold it tight, at least for awhile. Once side came off after about 3 weeks, but has stayed on so far after being reattached. The other side has held on since the initial install, so I'm thinking it might have been an install error, since I didn't clean the tiles, just lightly wiped it. That's actually probably not bad for tile that's not perfectly smooth. If it comes off again, I'll try using come cleaner before reattaching and hopefully it will stay attached longer.

I figured the Suction Cup Grab Bar would not work on the tile in either our walk in shower or tub/shower because the shower surface is three inch tile. The suction cups are too large (suction area), tile and grout lines does not provide a continuous smooth surface for the suction cups. But they do work fine on the glass enclosure, but we must be careful and remember that we cannot use the Shower Handle as fall prevention devices and only should be used to help balance.Suction works great, pump is easy to use, does not quickly lose suction but will eventually need to pump to maintain suction. I suggest you wet the surface first before pumping the Shower Handle, seems to help obtain a better grip. The bar has a good feel to it, is not slippery when wet, fits my hand fine but my wife said its a little big (diameter) for her hand.
