Noise cancelling is NOT affected. Quality seems really good. If they last longer than the year my Bose originals lasted, then I promise to update this review.They even come with replacement component plates. I didn’t think mine needed replacing, but I did anyway, less bacteria about and slightly better aesthetics

A good product that fits well but a little noise isolation loss compared to the original pads.The AHG youtube video on how to fit them was very helpful.

These replacement cushion ear pads for my QC 45, are specifically designed for the Bose quiet comfort 45 noise cancelling headphones, these pads have been crafted from high quality protein leather, which offers a soft and comfortable feeling against my ears.First you unclick the old cushions, from under the lip that holds them in place, then you remove the inner protectors. They give you two inner ear covers , a left and right that are for covering the inner speakers. They have an L and an R so you won’t mix them up.They are very easy to replace, the covers have two glue bits, to stick in place. Then you replace the new cushion clicking them back in, making it nice and secure.They are extra thick with the high density foam, that ensures I get good noise insulation. They are super comfortable even when I use them for a long time.They are built to last, providing a long-lasting replacement, for the original Bose CQC 45 ear pads, that have lasted since I got these. And I use them a lot.Instructions are in the box.

Replacement pads for the Bose QC45 are quite expensive for what they are if you buy direct from Bose. Fortunately there are a few 3rd party alternatives such as these available.They come with a plastic tool to aid removal of the existing pads. It's not the best quality - the tip broke on the first use. I found it just as easy to use my thumbnail so it was not a problem. You also get spare scrims (the mesh inside that covers the speakers) in case you damage the existing ones when removing the pads, but that would not be easy to do.The pads were easy to fit - you just need to slowly work around the perimeter and push the ring under small plastic retaining points.These pads are quite a bit thicker than the Bose originals and the slight increase in clamping pressure bothered me at first but after a couple of weeks it seem reduced - or I have just got used to it.The manufacturing quality as far as i can tell is just as good as the Bose ones and I would certainly buy these again when I need a new set.

This is a fine set that comes with everything you need to refurbish your tired QC45s.My teenage son never removes his QC45s so they have taken a battering over the last 18 months. Consequently, the pads were very worn.The replacements in this set are easily as good as the original pads, they are the same colour and have a lovely soft pleather finish, with good high-density foam padding. Each comes with a new inner liner too, so when this set is fitted your headphones really are as good as new.The little spodger tool provided works really well to fit the pads, which is a bit fiddly due to each having about 10 tabs that need to click into place, but I had them on in about 5 minutes, without any issues.Once fitted the headphones were comfortable, and provided a good seal returning the sound isolation to its former glory. Hard to comment on durability at this stage but the materials are good and the manufacturing seems to be to a high standard so I expect they will last as long as the originals for a fraction of the price.For the money this is an excellent set and very easy to recommend.

Do not fit at all. Total rubbish

Big positive for this product is the video where they show you how to remove the old ear cushions and attach the new ones. This is really hard to do and the video makes it significantly easier to work your way through it.Product consists of two replacement ear cushions, the fabric speaker protector and the plastic tool to help you put it together. Cushions are comfy and everything feels like the genuine article. All fits into place without issue and they look and feel as expected afterwards.Trouble is, there is a noticeable decrease in sound quality. I changed over one pad and kept one the standard default and when listening to audio it is incredibly noticeable which one is the genuine side and which one is the compatible. Overall, a decent enough replacement if you need to replace the cushion and want to save some money, but you will sacrifice some sound quality in the process.

I have the Bose 45 quiet comfort headphones and my husband was going to buy me a new pair because my pads were ripping. I’ve had them for years. Well thankfully when I was searching for headphones these replacement pads popped up so I got these. The video for replacing them is very easy to follow and very helpful! Highly recommend watching that when you’re replacing them. And SO MUCH CHEAPER than buying new headphones haha

I should have done more research and believed the 1 review that said these replacements ruin the noise cancelling. The stock cushions, even after the leather started ripping, managed to maintain the amazing noise cancellation effect of these headphones. After replacing them because feeling the direct foam on my ears was irritating, I noticed that these replacement cushions don't cancel out high pitch and loud sounds as much anymore. I used to be able to just play music at around 25% volume and it canceled out so much noise. Now I have to listen to music at over 50% volume or more (depending on the music style) to cancel out the same amount of noise using stock cushions. Very disappointed and waste of money. I should have just contacted Boss directly for replacements.
