Hevea Heavy Duty Carver Board 40 X 29Cm

This was a gift for my husband and he was super specific because how annoying it is when carving boards don’t have a deep enough well for all the juices, and the spikes need to be strong enough to hold the meat— this ticked all the boxes and is easy to clean and great for even the biggest of lamb joints- highly recommended

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son. Unbeknown to me he had purchased a different make to this one, but it was interesting to compare the 2 when they were used for the roast meats at Christmas. The one he bought did not have such deep channels and the removable spike ring was awkward. The juices from the meat could not be contained in the channels and spilt all over the table. On the other hand, this carving board with its deep channels and very stable spike ring, contained all the meat juices, was a bit bigger in size, heavier because it was a thicker board and also better quality wood. An excellent product. I would definitely recommend it.

An excellent well-sized carving board. A lot of thought obviously went into it's design. A nice thick wooden board with sturdy spikes to hold the meat in place. When not in use, a wooden lid fits over these spikes enabling it to be stored safely with the option of other items being placed on top of it in the cupboard - this wooden lid also doubles as a small chopping board for herbs/garlic etc. The groove cut around the board swiftly channels all meat juices into a deep well at one end. Obviously this board is hand wash only. It's brilliant and comes highly recommended from this household!

The product is ok but on the small side. The cap for the spikes to hold meats is fiddly to fit. The reservoir for the meat juices is disproportionately large.

I have wanted a better carving board for ages as the metal one I have blunts the knife and scrapes unpleasantly as you go down the joint. This one is perfect and the protective wood square to put over the points when not in use, is brilliant. The board is very well made, is a good size and highly recommended.

This is exactly what you need - keeps the meat steady for carving and catches the juice - couldn't have made it better myself!

Superb carving board, with moat around to catch juices and spikes to hold roast in place, also very health and safetyconscious because after use there is a box to cover the spikes with.

Looks great, given as a present and haven't had a report on how it works yet.
