I am a wide size 9, so ordered the 9 - 11 having noticed another review that suggested that the sizes were a little small. I hope that these socks will shrink a little in the wash as there is about an inch of extra material behind my heel. As they are a merino blend, they are quite likely to shrink in a machine wash.

These do exactly what I was after. Help keep the blood in the right place and keep my feet warm too. I suffer from bad leg and food cramps and these have helped me allot. They have a L and R on them so you get them on the correct feet - I ignored that once and they didn’t feel as comfy. I bought them while on a special price so good value also. A quality product.

Excellent socks, lovely and comfortable and very warm, perfect for winter walks

The media could not be loaded. These socks are very good. The stitching is accurate; they look, feel and 'wear' like a proper professional bit of kit, which they are. They're really comfy to wear inside my ski boots and they don't 'crumple' up during the day, causing irritations and sore shins.The extra padding is strategically placed in order to provide maximum comfort for the user. I'm particularly fond of the extra padding on the base of the foot and only the necessary protection at the shin area. A well thought out design.They wash well on a low heat setting and when they dry they keep their shape well. I'm confident that I'll be able to wear them on a few skiing holidays, which makes them excellent value for money.The combination of Merino Wool, Spandex, Nylon and acrylic allows these socks to keep your feet warm and dry whilst feeling cosy and snug. They don't absorb too much sweat neither so after a days skiing they don't stink!I suppose the colour doesn't really matter, but they do look great. Performance and comfort are the main thing and these socks haven't let me down. I've already recommended them to family and friends!

These winter socks arrived in their own ziplock storage bag, which was a good first impression.And they are lovely and thick!!!They are of very high quality and I particularly like the fact that they have a right and left sock, with the R and L marked on the foot.They are blended from merino wool, acrylic, nylon and spandex, and have compression features to ensure that there is support for different areas of the foot and leg. There is a non slip cuff to ensure that they do not fall down when wearing them.The socks come right up to the knee, and when you are wearing them you can feel the different compression areas hugging your feet and legs to give you the support and cushioning you need. There is a thickened heel and reinforced toe for extra comfort.The blend of merino wool and acrylic means that they are very breathable and so they will keep you sweat free throughout the day, whether you are skiing, snowboarding, or hiking.I got the XL size for my partner, which is a shoe size of 13 to 15, and they are true to size.At a price of £26.99 for two pairs, they are not cheap, however I do believe that they will be worth it for the comfort and support they give, and also the quality of the socks means that they should last for a very long time.

These thermal socks are fantastic for skiing and snowboarding. The compression and support they offer make a noticeable difference in my comfort and performance on the slopes. I've used them for a few weeks now, and they've become an essential part of my winter gear. No complaints here.

I don't ski, so if you're thinking of useing these for their intended purpose then you may need to read between the lines a bit here. I do spend a lot of time outdoors in the wet and cold though, and my preference has always been for ski socks over 'hiking' socks and I really do like these ones.The fit is excellent. I am size 7 but the size 3-5 is a perfect fit for me, as you can see in my photo. There are no hard spots or awkward seams and there is a mild compression effect. The various patterns across the sock seem more for decoration than any functionality and no parts of the sock are thicker (or thinner) than any other part.They are just the right side of warm to wear them. They breath well and don't over heat your feet, but are not as hot as some ski socks I've tried. They don't hold odour and even after a day of work wearing these my feet felt fresh and comfortable, and you can squeeze an extra day out of wearing them without feeling icky.Great socks, warm, very comfortable, and look good too.
