Goon Library, The Volume 2

The goon is excellent. It's goofy & quirky and gives me the daaaaaamn giggles. Well in the book it does get s little serious to point there is no more laughing. The artwork has improved, the story seem to be getting better and better and cannot wait to purchase book 3. I just love this edition, the quality is amaze ballz

Fantastic art and stories wonderful heavy paper that really holds the print well. This oversized format works really well and I would recommend to anyone who appreciates quality story telling

Bom, sabe aquela velha e surrada situação hipotética "o que você levaria consigo para uma ilha deserta"? Se eu tivesse que escolher um gibi, carregaria Goon comigo. É meu gibi favorito. Simples assim. Eric Powell é um artista sensacional e um roteirista melhor. O universo que ele criou aqui é algo que não deixa a dever a Mignola e seu Hellboy. As estórias, em boa medida, podem ser lidas como "one shot", mas quando lidas na ordem oferecem uma experiência realmente legal. Existe continuidade. Enfim, humor pastelão, drama, plot twists, um protagonista carismático (ainda que sorumbático) tudo regado ao molho mais politicamente incorreto que se pode encontrar hoje em dia. Pega pra ler que é sensacional!

The Goon is a great comic book! Eric Powell is awesome. These library editions are huge and I really dig them and the print quality is exellent. The only bad thing I can say is that it does not reprint the Satan's Sodomy Baby one shot, however I guess that's to be expected. I'm collecting them all.

This has fast become my favorite comic series ever. Just to provide some context, I'm an actual avid comic reader and I'm at my LCS every Wednesday. I'm in awe at just how fun this series manages to be. I now pick up absolutely anything by Eric Powell.
