I'm not new to the world of personal finance books and I've gotta say, Vivian makes personal finance easy and stress-free (emphasis on the "stress-free" part). See, So many folks in the personal finance space to a lot of money-shaming talk and I think Vivian never lets you forget that it's your bestie- yes, your bestie- that is explaining all things banking, debt, credit cards, investing... you feel like she's on your side the whole time and is rooting for you.Best yet, she uses easy analogies and examples to explain even the most convoluted concepts (see her tax bracket section in Chapter 6 for evidence of this).I give Vivian a standing OV with this book, which is so desperately needed in our times.I highly recommend "Rich AF!"

If you don’t know who your Rich BFF Wall Street girly Vivian Tu is, you must not watch her YouTube videos. Don’t wait to order this book, it’s awesome and will put on you track to get your finances in order. She gives a lot of very important info. Thank you so much Vivian Tu for all you have done and continue to do to help all of us become richer someday, than we are now. She’s definitely one smart cookie and she’s not afraid to continue putting very important information out there, so we’re all well informed consumers.

I went to college with Vivian (though we never actually spoke on campus) and when she made it big, I was really excited. Pre-ordered this book and I must say, it delivers.Though I am likely not the intended audience (I already read widely on personal finance and have been investing for years), the book still had a lot of great insight.Some things she does well:1) she writes how she talks. If you enjoy her videos and her social media appearances, you will enjoy the writing in the book2) she makes things easy to understand. Using hilarious and relatable analogies, she breaks down the differences between different kinds of investment types, retirement accounts, and why you will never be worse off in terms of taxes for earning more money (hint: the marginal tax rate is not the same as your overall tax rate. Can you believe I actually know someone who turned down a promotion because she thought she'd be paying more taxes with a higher salary?!?)3) The book has lots of actionable steps, from creating a budget to the difference between the snowball and avalanche methods of debt repayment.Overall, excellent book, especially for beginners to the world of personal finance.If you are someone who reads personal finance books for a hobby, then this book could still be a great read, but it is not as likely to be life changing. However, if you are a Gen Zer or Millennial who has never even put a cent into stocks before, or if you have no idea what an IRA is, then this book is for you (and, if you actually implement the book's advice, it could potentially even be life changing for you!).
