Women's On-The-go 600-Brilliancy Sport Sandal

These are my go-to sandals. I love them so much that this is my 6th pair. I now have white, black, 2 blue, beige and red/white/blue (they sold this several years ago). These sandals really hold up. I've had my oldest pair for several years and it still is very wearable. The traction on the bottom got a bit worn after a couple of years, but they are still wearable. They still look good. My oldest pair has faded a bit but you probably wouldn't notice unless you put them side by side. They are so comfortable. I have problem feet and these have good arch support and the straps are very adjustable. The adjustability is because you can fit it to your foot. If your ankles sometimes swell and sometimes don't the adjustability really helps. The front part of the sandal is not adjustable but the sandal comes in medium and wide widths. The velcro holds well. The strap is longer for the wide than the medium. They are very comfortable to walk in and I can put them right on and wear them, no blisters. The traction is good. I haven't had any problem with slipping. The footbed is comfortable and not slippery even when wet. My foot never slides around in the sandal like I've had happen with other sandals. They are lightweight and pack well. I really do wear these all the time.

I found my Clark sandals were too stiff to be comfortable on long walks, hurting my feet and knees. Not these. These are cushiony and more comfortable to walk on the street especially. I love them. I have wide feet, the wide fit me perfectly. I love them. Very nice looking too, not bulky.

I started having some problems with my feet a few years back, which I chalked up to aging, being now in my mid 50's. I decided I just needed more supportive and comfortable shoes. It was recommended I give Skechers brand a try a little over a year ago. and I couldn't be happier that I did. ALL my shoes are now Skechers brand. With summer coming, I needed new sandals this year, so these are my first Skechers brand sandals. I have a personal preference for sandals with a back heel strap, as it helps to keep them on when wearing them for long periods and/or participating in more vigorous activities, without causing pain over time arising from trying to keep my feet in sandals without a back strap. I've also found those that have a strap coming up between your toes can cause pain over time for me, so I avoid that type. This pair met those criteria. These open and close via velcro, which makes them far easier to put on and take off than the buckle types that can sometimes dig in to your feet, and they are secure. I usually like the femininity afforded by low, flat sandals that look less "blocky" to me, but sometimes concessions are necessary... these have the chunkier base, but like other Skechers, provide the comfort and support I now need for the well being of my feet. The straps are designed in such a way as to be reminiscent of Roman style sandals. The cushioned fabric straps are more comfortable than hard leathers and pseudo leathers that can be uncomfortable and become sticky in the heat, and the triangle connectors and side (rather than center top) strap add some femininity and flair to the design. With enclosed Skechers shoes, I usually buy wides to accomodate socks and comfort, and sometimes even go up half a size, depending on how the toe of the shoe appears. I went with my normal shoe size and didn't go wide on these, and after breaking them in for a few days, they are fine. These can get wet and still have traction, unlike some sandals, and can easily be rinsed clean as well if needed. While Skechers are not the most inexpensive shoes, they are far from most designer shoe prices, and they are worth every penny if you have foot pain. Since making the switch to Skechers, after a year, I now have no ongoing/constant pain in middle of the ball of my left foot, foot cramps (which may be in part due to adding a sliced banana to my Greek yogurt in the mornings), and my feet fall asleep/have pins and needles sensations far less frequently. Good shoes may well be the most important clothing decision you can make for your health and well being, particularly as you start to age. I cannot recommend Skechers enough.

These are comfortable but definitely not wide enough for my feet. I usually wear an 8 2E, extra wide Hoka Cliftons or 6/8 crocs. The toe on these is long and makes it look like they are too big. The footbed hits right and has good arch support. I do feel the bottom of me feet would get hot wearing these. I will keep these because I tried them on without socks, but otherwise would probably return them for something else. If the front strap was adjustable these would be amazing. Somehow I thought it was, I just didn't look closely enough. I am hoping it'll stretch out but I doubt it. My little toes just barely tuck behind the strap and my feet overhang the edges by quite a bit. Great for the right person and could probably wear these all day if the front strap was looser. I usually am almost too big for an 8 so this is surprising. If you are 2E or wider these likely will not work.

When I first received these shoes, I was convinced that I was going to have to send them right back. The fit was tight at the front strap, near the pinky toe area, just like a different pair of sandals I have owned and hated. I wondered how everyone else could rave about them so much, when they felt so uncomfortable to me. Then I remembered seeing another reviewer comment about breaking them in. So, I put them on and went about my household tasks for a few hours. Sure enough- after wearing them one afternoon, I no longer felt any tightness or discomfort. They seemed to adapt to my feet and they felt GREAT! Now I understand the appeal. Now I am excited about wearing them! I haven't truly put these to the test on my vacation yet, but I feel pretty good about what I have experienced so far. So good that I am ordering a second pair in a different color!

These sandals are extremely comfortable! I have plantar fasciitis and these don’t hurt me. I can stay in these shoes all day. I recommend them!

I’m in love with these sandals! They’re so comfortable and cute! I bought it for my trip to Hawaii and they were literally the only shoes I needed. I was able to wear to the beach, go hiking and all day shopping. It’s casual but still cute enough to dress up with a nice dress.

I ordered these in black last summer and wore them so much, I felt the need to replace them. They still have some wear, so I will still wear them when walking among dirt, sand or dust, as they look pretty dusty and worn, but are still very comfortable. The tread is a bit worn as well. I did have to cut the top strap on the black ones as it stuck out once the velcro ran out on the strap when tightening. I wanted new ones, but in a tan color which wasn't available in my size 8, as the black ones were. I took a chance and ordered the 7 Wide in tan as I have gotten away with 7 1/2 when it is offered, but never 7's. That strategy seemed to work! They look like they are borderline, but they don't look too small. My toes hit just short of the top edge. AND, I'm thinking I won't ever have to cut this strap to keep it from flapping around as that fits better across the top as well. I'm glad I tried this size out. I think I'm going to really like these!!! The only other factor that held me back from ordering right away was the price. It was considerably more pricey than last year, but I guess everything is. Besides I did have about $16 in rewards points so that lowered the price a little, making it a little easier to press that "order" button in check out. I'm going to wear them around the house, just to be sure they will work out as well as the last pair. I want to make sure that the straps going over the toes isn't going to end up being too tight, as they aren't adjustable. So far, not a problem, but I do feel them there more snug than with the bigger size.. I have very flat arches. These are the only sandals so far that seem to conform to my foot because the foot bed is springy (almost like memory foam) and give a little arch support without digging into my practically non existent arches. They look nice too. I'm sure I can get away with wearing them with all my summer dresses as long as they are as comfortable as my last pair. With the price being much higher, I won't just settle. I'll write an update if anything changes. I don't usually write a review the day I receive an item.
