Mallorca: 6 car tours, 32 long and short walks (Sunflower Walking & Touring Guide)

As usual sunflower guides provided me with the clear instructions I needed to find excellent walks that explored a variety of the landscapes that the island had to offer. When I go abroad I always see if a Sunflower guide is available for the area and I have never been let down yet by a guide in this series. A brilliant series of guides and I have no hesitation in recommending them to the walker and car tourist alike.

We used this guide on a two week holiday. You can use this book for individual walks, sections of walks and for combining walks to make your own walks. We tend to use Sunflower walking guides when on holiday and tend to pick areas to go holiday where there is a Sunflower walking guide. Next holiday is in Southern Tenerife. We stayed in Estellencs ideal for walking up Galatzo. Walks 1and 2 near Sant Elm are highly reccommended. Don't miss walk 14 Es Castell D'Alaro.

Was ideal for our holiday on Mallorca. Lots of detailed suggestions for walks. There were a few inconsistencies in the descriptions of individual walks; greater use of distances between way-points would have helped navigation.

Another excellent Sunflower book which is great for getting you off the beaten track and into the real Mallorca. The car tours can give you a flavour of an area and the walks help you get to grips with it. The usual clear maps and good instructions for the walks.
