Captured: Highgate Preparatory Academy, Book 1

Loving the story line and characters. Lilly is a hoot I love her fashion sense! I laughed, teared up, and couldn't put it down. Finished in same day on to book 2! I must say though, I did spend alot of time googling Lilly outfits, not to mention when irregular choice shoes were mentioned well I had to Google it too. I then proceeded to spend the next 45 min drooling over shoes I can't afford. Cheers to saving up for new shoes.

First things first, I really enjoy the characters of this book and love the humor of the main female character! Her Vagisty will forever be used by me now! LolWith that said, I do not like the fact that these characters are mere teenagers acting as though they are in their mid-twenties! I'm sorry, it's just not relatable at all! A 17-year-old girl is just not confident enough in her own skin to react the way Lilly did to become a part of a reverse harem. In my mind, these characters should have been written as college-aged kids. So while I read this story, in my mind I aged all the characters up. I think that the author made a poor choice in aging these characters so young but giving them personalities and inner monologues of people in their early to mid-twenties.This book is a fun, hot read and I do recommend it! Just know going in, that in your mind you will be aging these characters up at least 5 years!

Great story so far, can't wait to read the next book!! Great spice, I love their chemistry!! Great character development!

First off I want to talk about the trigger warnings that aren't completely informative. If self-harm triggers you be leary that there is one scene with it. Wish that was listen specifically in the triggers so I was prepared, as it is a big one. Also (quote from novel) "I can hardly breathe through the pain that these marks, his scars, cause me" Like girl get over yourself off anyone said that to me I'd be so annoyed. Like I get why but still. Moving on the the characters the FMC is literally so annoying and made out to wear rather childish clothes at time with sexier clothing underneath. The things the characters says are rather cringe worthy. One line is where he says she makes him feel like a "randy teenager " like they aren't literally teenager. I did make it through the whole book and I liked it alright but not something is repeat. I rarely do more negative reviews if ever but bffr?? The authors take on teenagers is horrific at times. The smut which is a lot and the FMC is always moaning over something and the guys are always aroused by something. Don't get me wrong I live for smut but it's just not so tasteful scenes.

Loved this book from the first chapter to the last. Loved the characters and was entrapped from beginning to end. The cliff hanger makes me want to get the second book now.

Rosa writes mystery, conspiracy, and spice with gripping words and phrases. These men may be evil underneath because of their upbringing, but when they fall in love, they fall hard and deep. Their words are romantic and jaw dropping. You’ll wonder if any other book boyfriend is worth your time. Giving Loki, Jax, Kai, and Ash a chance was the best thing I ever did in my RH obsession.

This book was a nice pallet cleanser after reading so many dark romances. It’s extremely spicy with just enough storyline to keep me interested in the characters and wanting to know what happens next. My only complaint is the age of the characters. They are in high school and 17 to 18years old. This being an RH with explicit scenes both sexual and violent, it reads like the characters should be much older. It was an otherwise good book and I can’t wait to read the next book.

So far I've have finished book 1 and I am in process of book 2, excited to read book 3.I absolutely love this series. It keeps me on my toes, the many ups and downs. The smut in it is brilliant! Very "come" worthy. (Wink, wink) I have been turned on by this series so far, cried along with the characters, been scared and excited.I highly recommend this series if you enjoy smut! 10/10

What an awesome story! I guess this is whats called "fast burn"? The story went so quickly but i loved how all the boys became so enamoured with Lily so auickly! And how could yiu not fall in love with these four broken bad boys! I cannot wait to read the next book. I just loved it!

I liked the book but I thought it was I bit exaggerated in the intimacy. It was a lot for me and I like books with good steam. But it was a bit forced for me.The plot as good and the suspense thrilling.

Having read another book by Rosa I had to go back to find more these books are hot and with a good storyline which I was in suspense about

Lilly's internal (sometimes external) thoughts were hilarious and some of my favourite things to read in these books.The characters all go through so much trauma and hardships that it seemed almost impossible for them to get their happy ending but I'm so glad they did.The story wrapped up nicely for the most part(love the found family aspect) I'm still just confused on a couple things (not main character related) and hoping they will be cleared up when I read the prequel novella.The incorporated playlist throughout the books was a nice touch and I found some new music to add to my playlists.
