While the dividers fit inside the box, when you start putting the bulbs in, a full row gets squished on two sides, for a total loss of 11 slots.

The box is a little small. The C-9 bulbs, once shoved in, take a little work to pull out. But, all, in all, it's better than nothing, and it will work.

OK - I agree with everyone else here. This is crazy expensive to pay for a box to hold C9s. But what to do? I asked that same question. First I thought "shotgun shell boxes", but alas, there are no shotgun shells as big as a C9. Hmmmm. Then what? That's a stumper indeed. Then I happened upon a solution. I'm not selling anything, so no link here, but if you search for boxes to hold rolls of quarters you will find other options. A couple of notes. Boxes for holding rolls of quarters are really, really durable (quarters are heavy) and they are just a tiiiiiiiny bit too small. But they work. Or, if you prefer, buy the boxes to hold half dollars. They are way too short, but if you take out 2 of the 3 long dividers, the bulbs fit in sideways super nice, but this is a bit more expensive of a solution. Anyway, that's my experience. Good luck!
