Weight is poor, tang is not visible and from the balance goes all of an inch and a half into the handle. Handle protrudes below the level of the cutting edge of the blade making chopping tiresome as you can't cut down to full contact on the blade.These are, frankly, toys. I've given the set away to someone who will be going off to uni and needs a first set of knives. Thankfully at the price it wasn't a big deal and if they last the first term they will be worth the cost.Don't waste your money on a cheap set of knives. For a small increase on the cost of this set buy a decent sabatier and steel which will last you a lifetime if you look after it properly - and will be a pleasure to use.

Good budget knives
No real complaints for the price. These are surprisingly sharp given the pricepoint, which was pleasantly surprising. They've very lightweight which I'm sure will appeal to some people, though I would have preferred a little more heft. They're also weirdly balanced, which I think is down to the construction with very little tang into the handles. The handles themselves don't look the best, but for a cheap set of sharp knives, they really aren't bad at all. In fact, the peeler is superb, so they're still good value all considered.

Great looking knives and very sharpe only downside is the print has started peeling on one of the knives so bit disappointed
