I purchased this book because I homeschool my 8th grade daughter and it is wonderful. It helps her develop higher level thinking, which prepares her for High School papers, debates and the complexities of differing opinions.

I got this book a while ago but decided to pick it up an read it. As someone who dislikes reading books, the format and clarity of the text helps my ADHD brain stay engaged but also understand what I am reading through the multiple examples it gives. It repeats the same stuff over and over again trying to reiterate the point in a way everyone can understand, but it makes for a really boring read because of it. I didn't actually finish this one, it was a grueling effort to get a little over halfway.

I love that the creators take time to break down each featured way of thinking into stages in order to showcase each step and emphasize the emphasize the logical sequence that make up the process. This book is a great tool for teachers and instructors who work with high school / young-adult level students like me. I love this books so much! I may buy a second one just in case something happens to my initial copy.
