My two small dogs were in the habit of eating faster than I could put the food into their dishes. And no amount of my talking or moving their dish or asking them to look up changed anything. My grandson told me to look for these items on Amazon. What a difference these inexpensive dishes were to feeding time.They are not so large and seem to be light in weight but they slow down their eating and they are able to completely empty food from every inch of the dish.Easy to clean with warm water and Dawn. I'm not sure about putting it into the dishwasher, and so I did not try.

This dog bowl works very well to slow down my dog during meal times. The bowl was a bit smaller than I expected, and I was a bit worried the food wouldn’t fit, but it works great!

My lab is a fast eater and will finish her food only to move to the other dog bowl. I got this for her and it slows her down perfectly! My other pup has a chance to finish his food before she does!

My black lab eats like it’s his first and last meal, which leads to him burping and sometimes vomiting 🥴. This was a quick 7 dollar purchase that saved us from an expensive trip to the vet just to learn my dog eats like an absolute savage. It’s slowed him down and he eats over 10 mins now instead of 10 seconds! Only wish is that it was round to fit inside of his bowl. It holds up well in the dish washer and is convenient for travel as well.

The description notes that this is a feeder for large breeds however the capacity is very limited. I feed my golden doodle 1 1/2 cups of dry food per meal and it barely fits in the shallow bowl. Just keep in mind if needing more capacity.

My dog was gulping his food down in a hurry and having really bad dog farts. I got this slow feeder bowl and it has really helped. I was confused by how small the box was when it came. Then once I opened it I saw it was because the bowl is wide and deep with the smooth, raised inserts. I able always critical of products when I 1st get them. I will recommend this one as it is decent quality.

I have two large dogs that bolt their food. In the photo of this product there is a large Golden Retriever seated next to what is supposed to be this bowl, making it seem that the bowl is suitable for large dogs. The bowls that I received are very small and shallow and can not hold the amount of food I feed my dogs. I returned the bowls.

I thought for sure this would be the answer to Jodie wolfing down her food faster than Fox and then trying to eat his food. And, for 5 days, it worked like a charm. It slowed her down enough that they finished at about the same time. However, last night Jodie found a way to defeat it. She got frustrated with trying to get the last of the kibble out and she turned the bowl over and dumped the rest of the kibble on the mat and hoovered it up. I guess we'll have to see how it goes as to her dumping it just once or all of the time. Sometimes she is too smart for her own good.
