A decent entery level astronomy telescope to start with
Astronomy telescope for both adults and kids. Moon observation is pretty promising since the the tripod is well build in this price range class. Well handling scenic watching on the road trip as well. Would recommend, good value as a holiday gift.

Review for monoscope, not telescope
This review is for the monoscope - the listing has since been changed to a telescope, which I cannot attest to. As to the monoscope, it is really fun to look through and once you figure out that you need to line up the adapter on your phone before attaching it to the monoscope, it is really easy to use. There is a learning curve with getting things positioned and focused, but I can tell you that what I have been able to do so far is fantastic. I was able to zoom in on a house fire that was a block away. That's a really long way. You can see the firefighter checking the car that is parked in the driveway to see if anyone is inside of it. Without this amazing zoom, you would not be able to see him from a full block away, where I was located.I cannot wait for spring and summer, as my shrubs and hedge are now the regular home of baby birds. At first we only had Robin redbreasts but now we have a family of Cardinals that take up annual residence in the lilac shrub. I am super excited to be able to grab pictures of them and I won't need to get close to do so. I won't tell you the story of last summer when a baby cardinal ended up in my hair, sending me screaming across the lawn as it was learning to fly. Suffice to say I am glad to have them here, and want to see them, but not in my hair. LOL Thanks to this monocular I will be able to do so.

Trouble focusing
It’s very cool. Look very clear at night. But the only thing I hate is it’s so hard to aline the small finding scope.

Impressed
This review is for the monocular telescope that can be used with your smart phone. I am very impressed with the magnification and clarity. It is the perfect size to travel or camp with if you don't want to lug a full size telescope with you. It takes some practice, like any telescope, to learn how to line up the moon and stars quickly, but is still very easy to use. We will take this traveling with use, especially was we go North to stargaze. Can be used in a pinch as a “binocular” so you don’t have to bring a separate set of binoculars as well. The photo in this review was the first time I used it, those decorations were about 300 feet away, and there is much room for improvement with getting the setting just right but will be fun to learn!

Great telescope for a beginner
I got this telescope for my son's birthday and he's totally into it now! He wasn't much into astronomy before, but this gift changed that. He's seen the moon, Mars, and even Saturn with its rings on a clear day. The assembly process is very smooth and easy, he did it himself with my minimal assistant. It's been a great value, really sparking his interest in space.

Sturdy Construction and Easy Operation
The telescope is sturdy and well-made, and the phone attachment easily holds my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in a rugged case. The telescope is extremely easy to use, with a single focus knob that makes it simple to adjust the focus. I also appreciate that the tripod is extendable, which allows me to raise the telescope to about 8 inches above the surface. The only minor downside is that the phone holder doesn't quite sit flush with the lens on the phone, which gives any pictures taken with it a sense of looking through a telescope. However, this is not a major issue, and I am still able to take clear and sharp pictures with the telescope.Overall, I am very happy with this monocular telescope and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality and easy-to-use telescope. Here are some of the pros and cons of the telescope:Pros:Sturdy and well-madeEasy to useExtendable tripodPhone attachment holds my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in a rugged caseCons:Phone holder doesn't quite sit flush with the lens on the phone

Very clear image
The monocular comes with a tripod, phone holder and a carry case.It is 16.5 cm in length and 7.5 cm at its widest point.Images are very sharp and clear, only limited by it having a set 12 x magnification.Field of view is indicated at 246 feet at 1000 yards,The tripod, which screws into the bottom of the monocular, is table top size, and will give around 22cm height, and reduces to 19.5 cm when folded. The phone holder adjusts to accommodate phones from 4.5cm to 7.9cm width. There is a slide and swivel part, which adjusts to allow movement to locate the phone camera in line with the monocular.Photos taken on a phone, using this accessory are sharp and clear, but images are circular, as seen by the monocular. The device feels very well constructed, and has a focus knob on its top.The carry case will only hold the monocular.
