I own a lot of Nilight products. They are my go-to for most of my car and low voltage needs. I already have a few Nilight pod lights, and they are great. I decided to give this mini light bar a try because of its unbelievably long range. It came with everything you need to install it. The light, wiring harness, and the switch. It was quick and easy to install. It's a spotlight. It shines as far as I can see. It's super bright and well made. This light is a great spotlight. It is very bright and has a long-distance focused beam. This is great on straight, long, and dark roads. It's not so great on curvy roads. The beam is too small and direct. My neighborhood is infested with coyotes. I do like this light when I go to the park and check the wood line for coyotes before I let my dog out of the car. This light is also great on open roads like a highway or long straight back road. I think this light would be more useful in wide open areas like driving in the desert or fields. This would be great on a 4 wheeler on a farm or a vehicle in the cranberry bogs. Another great use for this light would be on a boat. It would make an incredible spot light on a pond or the ocean. The longer the distance, the bigger the light. I'm not a fan of the beam pattern. They did list the beam pattern in the description, so I can't be upset with it. It's just a little too focused for me. It's still a 5 star item because it's exactly as described. The beam is not very wide, but it shines as far as you can see. I just don't do enough driving in open areas where this light would be more useful. I'm going to keep this light mounted for highway driving and check for coyotes. I'm going to mount 2 of their pod lights on each side of the bar for a broader light. I mounted this light bar with a mount kit. My other lights will be attached with magnets so I can change their position.

This light is pretty unique with the center spot beam that protrudes right out there. The outer lights create a flood effect casting light everywhere. This flood effect may be the downfall of this light for "On-road" use because it is pretty aggressive to oncoming traffic making this whole thing only useful like you would use your high beams. (perhaps just wire it into your high beam circuit?)For an off-road light this thing would be great I'd think. The light beam is pretty concentrated straight out in front of you so if you want side light, you'd need something else for that.One other thing I really wish the assembly had was more adjustability in the vertical position of the light. There's a few degrees between each detent position for the light. It would be great to have more adjustability. (I may entertain the idea of grinding the detents flat and making the assembly have infinite adjustment. The tension of the screws in the side of the assembly would be enough to hold it steady, there's really no need for the detents anyway)Overall, I'm happy I got this and installed it on my truck but I do think I may re-wire mine into my High beam circuit and just eliminate the switch all together.

This is a bright compact light bar that can be mounted almost anywhere. It is plenty bright and puts off a clean white light that makes everything look natural. It comes complete with mounting brackets, switch, and wiring harness so installation is relatively easy depending on your particular usage. What I really like about this one is it is a spot light where the light is focused on a small area but over a further distance. Most light bars are of the flood light type or a combination. I’ve not had any problems with this light so far but it has not been wet yet. I know other products from this brand have performed well for me in the past and have been waterproof, so I have no reason to expect this one to be any different.

Upon initial inspection, I noticed this light bar seems to be well-made and very bright when powered by 12V DC. I also noticed the mounting brackets seem to be well-made and very robust. The fit between the sides of the light bar and the mounting brackets features locking ridges to keep the light bar from rotating and locked in place. The light bar features an 18-inch cord, mounting hardware, and an allen wrench for installation, and comes packaged with protective foam around each end of the light bar.After testing the light, I discovered the light bar draws about the advertised 49 watts. The light bar draws about 51.1 watts at 13.8V DC and about 54.3 watts at 30V DC. During the test, I never noticed any air escaping from the light and at the end of the test, the light was still fully functional. After removing the light from the water, the light did not have any noticeable water behind the lens.This light bar also comes with a complete wire harness including ring terminals, a power relay, a covered fuse holder, a lighted and labeled rocker switch, a wire connector for the section of the harness going to the switch, a weatherproof wire connector for the section of the harness going to the light bar, and spare fuses.The light bar casts a beam as advertised with a wide flood light for close-range light and a much brighter spotlight from the center of the light for far-range. The brighter spotlight projects a clean-cut circular light that reaches out quite far.Although this light is in a compact package, it works very well. It's surprisingly bright for its size and is fully weatherproof as advertised. The addition of the complete wire harness makes this an ideal solution for any off-road light bar installation.
