Very accurate to description
The pumice was very good, it arrived in a large box and in that box it was in another large plastic bag. Not much else to say, true to picture and not much if any powder or variation in size.

Good quality for any potting endeavor
Good quality pumice for any potting job. I use it in my Mediterranean herbs, cacti, succulents, and alpine plants, like Edelweiss and some potted strawberries. Makes for good, light drainage opportunities, but can also hold on to important microflora/fauna as well as nutrients in the little crags and holes natural to pumice.I supplement all my plants with Mychorizzhae, and Mychorrizhae require volume to colonize thoroughly. In potted plants it's hard to get good volume, unless you use something like LECA, lava rock, or pumice. These stones provide extra volume in their nooks and crannies that regular perlite and/or vermiculite do not, as well as the drainage perlite/vermiculite would provide. Pumice won't hold on to water like LECA, or Perlite/Vermiculite, so it is probably more proper for those drought-tolerant plants than LECA/Perlite/Vermiculite, and is probably closer to the native volcanically-rich soil of Mediterranean herbs.Light-weight enough that a 5-gallon planter full of this is a fraction of the weight of even well-drained potting soil. I mix it with a cactus mix potting soil, which is sandier, grittier than regular potting soil, and usually heavier than regular potting soil because of the addendums. With pumice, the cactus mix is still lighter than 5-gallons of normal soil, so it's great for any gardener in need of a lightweight substrate for ease of moving containers.Good quality, although substrate additions like this are hardly going to be absolute trash, unless they are, actually, trash. Natural pumice stone, will probably break down over time, but will provide grit as it breaks down. Or, alternatively, you could smash it up into smaller pieces for a rough grit instead of keeping it in the bigger chunks in arrives in. You won't lose the functionality of it if you break it down a little.

Pumice is great for adding drainage to my potting mix. I love using it. I will not pot up new plants without using it. Excellent product.
