Easy To Pair
It's nice not to need the old pairing pin set. This learns a code much more easily. Works great with my Marantec openers.

Easy to program IF you read the instructions
Don't lose the enclosed instructions, or you will never be able to figure out how to program these things to match your existing garage door opener. You have to put the new opener against one of your openers that work in order to duplicate it. It is good we still had one of the openers! I found the opener I lost when I order these three openers, so now we have FIVE openers. That is good in case we lose one or two again. lol

Takes a longer press to activate than the kind programmed with pin connector.
I bought these for the purposes of soldering one into a WiFi garage door opener (Wyze in my case).However, the Wyze closes the contacts too briefly for one of these to activate.Had to order an older-style remote programmed with pins to get that to work.For the normal user, it's probably better since it's less likely to be triggered accidentally in one's pocket and the programming is more convenient.

Useless as a replacement remote
I bought these as a replacement for a lost remotes at a rental unit. However, they can only be programmed if you have a working remote...I cannot give 0 stars, so 1 star will have to do.

They worked!
We were struggling with not having enough garage remote controls for the 4 of us living at our house. This set solved that problem. I followed the directions carefully and they all worked on our garage door. The process was somewhat intricate, but simple if you take it step by step. The only thing that wasn't quite right is that one of the 3 remotes ended up with the top button for down and the bottom for up. Not a big deal at all, but I did try to re-program it assuming I had made the mistake, but it came out the same way the 2nd time, too. Overall, I am very happy I found these because they will make our lives easier.

Perfect
These were easy to set up and program using my old opener. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how easy it was given past experience. I followed the directions and it only took one shot to get these working. Very happy with these!

Very easy to clone, has great range
These remotes can clone/learn another Marantec remote (what I used it for) and has excellent range hovering around 60 feet away from a garage door receiver. Do note these remotes cannot act as a master remote for a Marantec garage door and requires and original "master" with pins that can scramble the base code to bind to a garage door opener which can then be used to clone from as an additional remote. Easy to use, has a replaceable CR2032 battery (comes with batteries), and relatively light weight. When compared to the original these have an excellent plastic build to them.I highly recommend these remotes to add additional remote controls with your garage door opener.
