Description
- WHY FLEXISTRETCHER IS DIFFERENT - Unlike stiff nylon straps or flimsy elastic rubber stretch bands, the Flexistretchers resistance has been measured carefully to provide progressive stimulus to the muscle without sacrificing control. You will not find this combination of stretch and support found in any other product. The unique design allows it to be used in full body stretches such as arabesque but with its full adjustment can be used on smaller body parts such as hamstrings and shoulders. THE FLEXISTRECHER IMPROVES FLEXIBILITY AND STRENGTH - Using the Flexistretcher allows you to simulate specific dance or sport movement and patterns concentrating on improvements in execution and mobility. Utilizing the elastic resistance increases strength in a safe manner. Training with elastic resistance provides resistance throughout the stretch or exercise eliminating the possibility of cheating your way through the movement. HOW TO STRETCH WITH FLEXISTRETCHER - The key to stretching is to engage and active stretch based Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). The PNF stretching techniques employ the concept that muscle relaxation part of the stretch is fundamental to effectively enhancing flexibility and deepening the stretch. A popular PNF technique is the contract - relax where the muscle is stretched contracted relaxed and then stretched further.by using gravity. TO ADJUST FLEXISTRETCHER - Pinch the metal slider with your middle finger and thumb. Slide up or down by using the pointer finger to guide the part along the strap. With your other hand pull and hold the back side of the loop while you are sliding the metal piece to adjust. Make sure to adjust the size of the loop as you are changing the length of the strap to avoid the metal piece coming completely off of the strap. Ensure it is adjusted the correct length before you start exercise. FLEXISTRETCHER TIPS - Due to the fact you can adjust the resistance on the Flexistretcher the smaller the straps the more difficult the exercise so it may be wish to start with longer straps when you first start. Use 3 times per week or more slowly stretching to the point of mild discomfort. Hold the stretch for at least 10 seconds working up to 30 seconds and perform repetition 3 to 5 times. Work against gravity and perform controlled and slow movements.
The Flexistretcher was created by a professional dancer recovering from surgery and has become a beneficial tool for ballet dancers globally. Harnessing the power of elastic resistance, the Flexistretcher safely improves flexibility simultaneously strengthening muscles. It allows one to simulate dance-specific movement patterns, like arabesque, concentrating on execution and mobility. Extend your range of motion and improve your functional strength including hamstrings using the Flexistretcher training videos.
