This is the 3rd 3d World Map I bought from Enjoy the Wood, the first 2 maps I bought directly with their website. I am glad Amazon decided to partnership with them to sell on the website. I installed all 3 maps at the offices of my business The product craftsmanship is superior but the installation process is not easily especially involving 3d Map with LED light. I hope Enjoy the Wood will improve the way to install the product in the future. When I have time I will share on youtube the way I improve installation for my map hopefully will encourage people to buy such an incredible piece of art.

Certainly not what I expected after reading so many positive reviews in so many places. Ordered directly from enjoy the wood and got the Large 2.0 acrylic with backlighting. Shipping took about 21 days. Packaging was excellent.Instructions suggest using the double-sided tape. Was a bit tricky to line things up, but finally got it all on my cleaned sheetrock wall. Had a ton of issues with the app connecting to the device. Tried customer service via a QR code shipped in the box, and that took me to their Facebook messenger customer chat. Tried messaging numerous times, and no answer. Tried their support email address, and immediately got a bounce back that the email wasn't in service. After hours of tinkering, I finally got the app to work (note that the app is really poorly designed...need to give it all sorts of permissions just to get it to work the lighting for the map and worst of all...there is no way to set a timer to trigger the light to go on/off...if you use a smart plug, when the plug turns on in the morning, you need to manually go back into the app each day and go through the whole process of connecting to your map and then picking your favorite mode...no way to default it).6 days of using the map, they whole right side of it fell off the wall (only north and south america stayed intact). Only minor damage to the acrylic/maps luckily so knew I needed a different solution, so had to look at the screw method. The screws they give are horribly short (with no wall anchors) and doubt they'd hold anything beyond cardboard to a wall. Had to go to the hardware store to buy new screws/anchors that were long enough to make sure they keep the map up, but with a screw head that fits inside the brass coupling that attaches to the wall. The screws kept going through the coupling because of its design, so had to get creative with zip-ties to ensure that the screw couldn't go through the couplings when attaching to the wall.Looks great in pictures, but certainly not as intuitive a product as they make it seem.

My wife and I went to Barcelona on our honeymoon and for her birthday I purchased her this map. She was very excited and we both love it! It unfortunately came damaged (despite being packaged well), but a representative from enjoy the wood was helpful and happy to help us get new one. It arrived quickly and is on our wall now. The quality of the wood is very nice and we love the many layers. The hooks on the back make it very easy to hang on the wall. We could not be happier!
