First, you really don't need instructions. It doesn't matter what polarity you attach the wires. Put all the white and blue together, put all the black and one brown together. OK if your switch blue and brown. OK if you connect to the house backwards. It's a light.Second, yes, instructions are in Chinese. This will bother some people.Now for why the 2 stars? Because the bracket that connects the light to the house has bolts EXACTLY WHERE YOU NEED HOLES to connect to a standard US light box which is almost certainly what is in your ceiling. you can't connect the brackets to the ceiling without removing the bolts, and you can't connect the light to the bracket without the bolts. You can't slide the bolts a little one way or the other because they must connect to the light in the place they are in.I'm off to the hardware store in hopes of finding a bolt with no head so I can screw it up into the ceiling and down through the light flange. Good luck to me but I should never have had to get to this point.

I can't read Chinese. So instructions in English would be helpful. The other reviewer suggested you don’t need instructions to install it - but, um, I’m pretty sure it’s standard to include installation instructions for lights, fans and other installable home items- everything I’ve ever purchased like this did include clear instructions. It’s a basic safety issue when handling electrical wires to correctly connect them to prevent fire. As the picture shows, there are a number of wires that need to be connected to put this item together, but they're different colors, so you can’t simply match the wires, as you would with a standard ceiling fan or something made in America. Because a) instructions are in Chinese b) the wires don't match each other (does blue go with black? White go with brown? or the other way around?) I am concerned with this item, and concerned with reviewers who don’t think basic safety is important.

These lamps are great bargain. They are steel and coated to look like brass so be careful when installing so you dont scratch them. Installation is super easy everything is there. Instruction are not necessary cause you know what you're doing. If you don't that PLS get electrician.

I was worried about this light because it didn't have any review when I purchased. But I am really happy with this light in living room. It looks so modern and simple !! I definitely recommend buying it !

Fixture is beautiful but the instructions are only in Chinese and the colors of wires do not match US standards.

I was a bit nervous for the installment issues that other people write but in my case everything was super good and Im really pleased with the results.

Color too dark for brass
