Perfect for summer
It was a bit of a struggle to get on our handles. They are kinda wavy shaped. Once they got in place though, they fit really well. They also won't just fall off. Unfortunately for us our house faces the sun. The handles get so hot that it can be hard to open the door without using a shirt or something. Just think of the metal slides back in the day. Now I don't have that problem. I imagine in August at our hottest temperature, it will still hold true. Good quality, great material, well made, and it looks nice on our doors.

This is a very easy solution to hot door handles (in Phoenix AZ).
These worked great to cover hot door handles. They simply slip over the metal handle. It does not come with anything to keep them from slipping off, so I put a zip tie on the open end and it stays in place. Of course, the sun bleaches out the color of the material, but who cares--no one is getting burned from the metal.

Great find
Purchased these for my elderly friend...she was rubberbanding a hot pad to her door handles. When I sent these to her, she was so happy! You'd have thought I gave her gold! She said, "I could sell these at our monthly coffee time!" She was so happy to no longer touch the hot handle from Kansas summer sun. She says they are snug, look tidy and are perfect for the doors in her retirement community in Wichita,KS Catholic Care. I encouraged her to keep some on hand and make new friends easily. :)

Too Loose
These are so loose that I needed to put on two on one handle to have it stay on. I thought it was maybe just my door handle but I took it with me to two hardware stores to see how it would fit on other similar door handles and it was the same issue of being too loose. Fortunately, it comes in a four pack so I was able to put one inside of another to have a secure fit. The fabric is also very thin so using one, I don’t see how in our 90-100 degree heat these will hold up and keep the heat from coming right through the fabric. Not a fan!
