A Kitchen Workhorse - Anolon Advanced Frying Pan with Lid
I recently added the Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pan to my kitchen arsenal, and I must say it's been a game-changer. This pan, more like a kitchen workhorse, has exceeded my expectations in every way, and here's why:1. Exceptional Nonstick Performance: The nonstick surface of this pan is top-notch. I can cook everything from eggs to delicate fish without worrying about sticking or burning. Cleaning is a breeze, and I appreciate that I can use less oil or butter for healthier cooking.2. Durability: The hard-anodized construction of this pan is built to last. It's resistant to scratches, and I haven't noticed any warping, even with high-heat cooking. This pan can take a beating and still perform flawlessly.3. Versatile Size: The size of this pan is perfect for a variety of cooking tasks, from frying and sautéing to simmering. The included lid is a great bonus, as it helps with steaming and braising.4. Even Heat Distribution: The pan heats evenly across its surface, which is crucial for consistent cooking results. I love that I can rely on it to sear meats to perfection or achieve a nice, even browning on veggies.5. Comfortable Handle: The handle is not only ergonomically designed but also stays cool on the stovetop, so no need for oven mitts or pot holders. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference in daily cooking.6. Easy Maintenance: I appreciate that this pan is dishwasher-safe, although it's so easy to clean by hand that I rarely need to use the dishwasher for it.7. Elegant Design: It's not just about performance; this pan looks great in the kitchen. The sleek, modern design is a pleasant addition to my cookware collection. In summary, the Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pan is a versatile, durable, and high-performing piece of cookware that has quickly become a kitchen favorite. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a home cook looking for a reliable nonstick pan, this one is worth every penny. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in need of a top-tier frying pan. It's a winner!

Six years old and still like new: the most versatile pan I own!
I've gone through a number of non-stick pans over the years, and they all had one thing in common: eventually, they stopped being non-stick. They'd peel, or scratch, or eventually just morph into a plain old pan as the coating failed...but this Anolon pan looks like it might last the rest of my life.If I could only have one pan, this would be the one: the most versatile one I own. After 6 years of heavy usage, the non-stick coating is still perfect, showing no signs of wear and seems just as slippery as the day it came off the factory floor; my morning egg-over-easy still slips off easily. The heat distribution is rapid and even, much better than cast iron—it's solid anodized aluminum, one of the most practical, lightweight, inexpensive, and efficient materials for stovetop pans. The pan is also PFOE-free.The shape of the pan is very adaptable: it looks like a wok-type pan, so it's great for stir-fry, but also works for anything you'd use a skillet for (omelets, saute, pan-frying, simmering, etc.), as well as being deep enough to use for most other stove-top tasks: boiling, deep-frying, soup simmering, pasta boiling, etc. It will hold about 4 quarts of liquid. Many high-end pans have an all-metal handle, which can create a burn hazard; the Anolon's silicone handle stays cool on the stovetop, and is oven safe up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The pan comes with a close-fitting tempered glass lid with a silicone handle, so you can keep an eye on things easily. It's pretty sturdy; I've dropped it a few times but it hasn't been damaged. It's not dishwasher safe, but it's very easy to clean; you just have to avoid abrasive scrubbers and cleansers. If you're looking to replace a tired old T-Fal, or are short on kitchen space and need one pan to do the work of several, this pan would be a good choice!

Impressive!
It was time to replace an old Caphalon 12" "frying pan" that had lost all of its non-stick qualities, so I looked around Amazon at various reviews of this type of cookware. I decided to try the Anolon, and I am very glad I did! Having used it almost daily for the last 5 months, the pan is showing almost no wear at all; although I almost only use silicon or wood utensils, not even an occasional use of a metal spoon or fork has produced a scratch yet. What I like: the surface is almost not even what I would call a coating, such as Teflon - it seems to be a part of the pan itself (thus, anodized, right?). Plus, the same surface is applied to the outside of the pan (not the bottom), so any spill-overs are as easily cleaned with a soapy dish rag, no matter what I cook (mostly stir-fry veggies, shrimp, etc., but also eggs and sauces). NOTHING sticks! Lastly, the cover is snug and the handle is cool to the touch. If there is any downside, it is that the shape of the pan is SO rounded, that for scrambled eggs or omelets it's impossible to "spread" them thinly, and even for stir-fry the pan is SO non-stick it's tough to push veggies up the sides without them sliding back down. Also, the pan is a bit thicker than some I've owned, so it takes a bit longer to heat. I consider those minor things though. And although the cost is more than I have paid for pans in the past, I'm convinced you get what you pay for. When my Circulon 8" pan bites the dust, I'm going hunting for an Anolon replacement!

Great deal
I’ve had one of these for over 20 years and was able to buy the exact same one. So happy. This works so well and only need a little spray oil for taste. Such a healthy way to eat. No real oils at all.

Sauté / Wok ????
Perfect size, great quality. I love this pan. Only draw back is it shaped more like a wok than a sauté pan. I expected a flatter bottom. It works for me, but not what I expected. I was already planning to replace my non-stick fry pans, so no problem. I just added a 12" skillet to my order. Almost same diameter but closer to the shape I wanted. Love this collection. Sauce pans are fantastic.

So Far, So Good
I've really liked using this pan in the last couple of weeks since I got it. It has all the features I wanted: very nonsticky, roomy, looks good, nice handle, reasonably priced. I hope it lasts a long time so I don't have to spend hours looking for a dang pan ever again.

It’s a good nonstick frypan.or
I bought this frypan for my son who is his family’s cook. Now I have ordered the smaller size for him also.

Small surface area
It's a 12" pan, but the cooking surface (flat part, in direct contact with the heat) is only about 7". It's really more like a wok. I can't brown five chicken breasts, i.e. dinner for my family, which is one of the things I want to do with a 12" pan. It's nice, but I can't use it for what I bought it for, so from that perspective, it's just cluttering up my kitchen.
