Anolon Advanced Nonstick Fry Pan/Hard Anodized Skillet, 10", Gray

I bought this specifically because of the weight, and of course the Anolon name. I recently bought two of the Gotham Ware (as seen on TV) non-stick pans, which are wonderfully non-stick. However...they are so thin and lightweight that they don't diffuse heat at all. Anyway, this pan is heavy enough to diffuse and conduct the heat very well. I am very pleased.

I waited a month to write a review, and used the pan nearly daily during that month. Everything slides out cleanly, including fried eggs. It easily wipes clean, and food gets a lovely sear on medium heat, no need for anything higher. I hand wash and don't use metal utensils, but otherwise don't baby it. I bought it to replace an Anolon pan I inherited from family in 2014. That pan was also used frequently, moved cross country, placed on high heat, put through the dishwasher, and only started sticking after at least nine years of this use, I don't know how long it was used before I got it.

I like the silicone handle, it's comfy and stays cool. I halve my oil use with this pan and washing it takes a few seconds

6 month old and still nonstick without a scratch. Follow instructions when breaking it in.

The Analon fry pan is a favorite that I use almost daily. I bought one and then another.

I can’t fry an egg in the pan without it sticking unless I use a lot of oil. Difficult to turn food. Rivets are poorly placed and difficult to get food off of when washing. Heavy duty and doesn’t warp but it so frustrating to have food stick every time.

I am no chef, but this pan is far superior to the Wirecutter-recommend Tramontina Restaurant fry pan.My biggest gripe with the Tramontina is that the handle is heavier than the pan itself. So if there is nothing in the pan, it just falls onto the handle! This is not a problem with the Anolon. Plus, this Anolon does not scratch as easily and seems sturdier in every way. I expect it to last MUCH longer than the Tramontina.I'm no chef, so I can't comment on how it cooks or whatever. But for an average dad like me, making food for the family, it does its job well enough I have no complaints there.

I waspan by hand and it is remaining a good nonstick pan, only wish the bolts attaching handle were nonstick as well. I have to grease the bolts so food doesn't stick.

I have other Anolon Advanced cooking pots and pans and they do hold up well.I like that both the inside and out side are non stick which makes for easy cleaning.Anolon Accolade may be just a bit better, they have a thicker build but I would saythey will wear about the same over time, I have both.These are a good buy on Amazon.

We bought this as a Christmas present for family members in Toronto who like to cook. They used the ones we have at home in loved them, especially the way things cook in them (e.g. bacon) and how easy they are to clean.

Expensive....worth it.
