The easiest and best installation instructions I've ever seen.It would be hard to properly measure and mount for different brackets on opposite sides of an opening but they have you covered. There are bracket mounting strips that you can use and they have sticky tape on the back already so they attach easily, when you're done they peel right off and leave no residue and the installation is perfect. There is a quick installation guide and a larger more thorough installation guide that is very large and easy to see and read. And they give you almost twice as many screws and drywall anchors as needed so when you do drop one or can't find it it's not a problem.Installation was so easy and such a joy. I was so happy going through the installation it makes my entire Outlook of the product better.Once installed, easy to use. Locks and unlocked easily. Slides with ease. Enough of a barrier to keep kids in the dog on the side they're supposed to be on, but not so easy to climb over. It's a strong mesh, it breathes and moves air easily it's fairly firm, and it's see through but unlike a permanent or metal barred gate can't support you in order to climb over it. Easy enough to step over for adults.At first I was looking for something and thought the price might be a little high but it is worth every penny

I purchased 2 sizes of this retractable gate to keep our 4 legged critters out of our kitchen area. The height his tall enough to keep out the tallest one and the bottom sits about 1" above the ground so no small ones can crawl under. The material is very sturdy and well made and installation was very easy and took about 20 mins to install both of them and that was at old man speed. The kit comes with paper templates that stock to the wall. The templates show you where to drill the holes for the wall mounts. I took more time verifying that the templates were level and even than I did to install the mounts and gate. So far I am liking this product but time will tell if the retracting system will hold up to a hundred opening and closings a day.

I would have give a 5 star review if the box that the gate came in had not been obviously reused and re-taped and not in good condition. Granted that may have been the delivery service fault. But missing instructions inside a sealed plastic bag inside the box is a different matter. When I opened the box the wall guide sheet(s) for mounting the hardware were missing. That took the install from a 25 min. time period advised by the manufacturer to over two hours of painstaking measuring and careful drilling to finalize the assembly. That was frustrating, all as a result of a missing critical part of the install. With the install completed, the gate has performed as expected and is well built of high quality material. I would recommend it to pet owners as well as parents with toddlers and or a baby.

We have 3 of these gates set up on our deck so our dogs don't get off the deck. We have had 2 of them for almost 2 years and the third just over a year and we love them. So easy to set up and so easy to retract.One of our pups broke a lower latch bracket trying to sneak out the other day. I contacted the company to see if we could just buy another latch bracket. Within an hour I heard back from them saying they don't supply parts, BUT they are guaranteed for 2 years. I just had to send them a picture of the broken part. So I did, and very shortly after I received an email saying they are sending me the entire gate as a replacement! Never have I been so surprised. The customer service is amazing and I should have my new gate by the end of this week.I can't say enough about this product and their customer service.

This baby gate has been amazing! It's super strong and sturdy—my little one hasn’t been able to pull it down, no matter how determined they are. I love that it’s efficient and can be rolled out of the way when we’re not using it, which makes it so practical for our space. It's seriously been such a great solution for us!

We purchased the Cumbor Retractable Baby Gate for our back deck, which has two separate stairways, and it’s been a fantastic addition to help keep our dog out of one section of the yard. The install was incredibly straightforward – it even came with a paper template that made positioning the brackets super easy. I was able to install it by myself with no issues at all. The gate is sturdy, retracts smoothly, and looks great in place. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable barrier for pets!

Seems like a great gate. I'm sure it would work for most people. We bought it because it was suggested for something called winding stairs. Where the last few stairs change direction. But because of the way that our stairs are at the bottom, I.e the banister not lining up with the stair, and the fact that we have an air vent right here (pictures for reference) we're having a heck of a time setting up this gate. My husband is currently in the garage trimming off a part of our stair trim (see also the pictures) so that we can get a couple inches in order to put the safety hooks on the wall.

This was so easy to install and works great at the top of our awkwardly angled entry stairs. The installation cheat sheets were so helpful. When not extended, this takes up very little space and is barely noticeable. Really happy with this gate so far.
