Pretty good charger with bad cable
I recently took this charger on a week long camping trip so I gave it a good trial. Overall, I like this solar charger. It gives a good bang for buck at 10,000 mAh while keeping the package portable enough for backpacking. My primary issue with this unit is the cable that comes with it. I absolutely love the cable design--one single cable has usb on one end and micro usb on the other end for charging the power bank or an attached adapter which slips over the micro usb for a lightning connector. So many of these chargers have separate cables for charging the device and then another cable for either android or apple. So what's the problem you ask...well the cable, after only two days of use, became intermittent. It is so frustrating to have to wiggle a wire to get it to charge your phone and then pray to Tesla that it stays connected overnight when you are counting on your phone for the next day. I'm able to get around the issue by using my own apple cable for charging my phone but it completely negates the benefit of the single cable provided. Their customer service seems like good people but their response to my cable failing after two days of use was they will work on improving the quality of the cable. That's fine and dandy, but I believe they should offer to replace the cable since it failed so quickly. So would I recommend this solar charger?? Maybe?? It's still usable but with caveats and the price is right. Also, you should be aware that if you drain the charger, solar (even with perfect conditions) will not recharge in one day given the smaller solar cells. I realized that beforehand and I am fine with it, but it's something potential customers should absolutely be aware of.

Great Quality
The solar panels work great! Having 4 makes all the difference. I can charge my phone (Motorola Droid Turbo) with 1 solid bar and solar panels out. The pack itself can charge both my phone and my wife's phone (LG G4) and power our bluetooth speaker (Which has a dead battery) all day.It works so well that my wife (who didn't see the need for this thing in the first place) has basically claimed ownership of this charger. The charger can disconnect from the solar panels, which reduces the bulk SIGNIFICANTLY, basically cutting the size in half.If you are torn between this or one of those packs with the SINGLE solar panel on the back, just buy this one. The single solar panel on the back can "technically" charge the pack, but over the span of several days (depending on the mAh capacity)Good way to think about it:If you buy a 2000mAh capacity battery pack that has ONE 200mAh solar panel, it will take 10 hours of PERFECT DIRECT sunlight to charge it to full capacity. However, we know that not everything works perfectly at spec, so that means it may take a "fuzz" longer. This pack was 10000mAh with 800mAh(4 panels at 200mAh). = 12.5 hours of PERFECT DIRECT sunlight to charge to full capacity. However, we know it would take longer since things are not always working perfectly, just like the other example.Anyways, for someone like me who intends to use solar a bunch since power is not always available where I am, this has been a good solution.

Great Product, Great Price. Field Tested in Hawaii.
I used this charger on a week long camping trip on the island of Kauai. It rained every day and the solar panels did get wet but, I wouldn't go as far to say that they were submerged in water. Plus, I kept the battery compartment covered in my pack to prevent water from wetting the actual battery. So, I would say that it is "water resistant" and not "water proof." If you're going to use this to charge your iPhone, I recommend using your own cable vs the one provided. The cable included is not very good. Overall, this solar phone charger is a good investment for the price. It kept my iPhone charged all week with no issues.

Neat power bank!
I've used this 3 or more times this year due to power outages in my area. I haven't had a chance to really use the Solar panels for charging yet, but it seems robust. The built in LED flash light has been the most useful thing about it. If you were to use this while camping, the solar charging feature would probably be the most useful thing, and the LED flashes "S.O.S" when you push the button a few times, in case of emergencies. Overall, it has a solid build, the battery bank lasts a long time when just using it as a light, and I got 2 full charges for my samsung note 9 from it before the battery bank was fully discharged.I imagine charging using only the sun will be slow however, since the battery is large. I'd buy it again!

go damaged fast
At first it was good except the charging wire was very bad, but they were nice and replaced it with good ones. in two months the good once were burned and damaged. then the unit itself started to have less indicators of full charge lights at start it was five then it went to four and then 3 so 2 burned and I do not know if it stopped charging as well or just the LED lights went bad, however sure enough now it does charge my iPhone twice then die, which means it si in a way very bad

Solar is a little slow but will charge in one day of bright light.
The charger has two usp sockets which is very nice. The solar charging is slow if the sun is not shining brightly, but on a sunny day it will fully charge. The charger can charge my IPhone 6s 4-5 times over without any solar or other charging, but if the charger is solar charging while charging your device it will charge it much more. In addition, you can take off the solar panels to make the charger more compact and portable if you need it for only one day or part of the day. Also in the car you can setup the charger to charge very well like how I show in the picture.

Powerbank is heavier than two phones!
I ordered this to put in my day hiking bag, just in case I needed to charge my phone. The charger has a nice size to it, but the powerbank is actually bigger than the solar panels, and is heavier than two cell phones. The powerbank is removable and you can use it without the solar panels (i.e. for a long plane trip), but you can't use the solar panels without the powerbank, which is exactly what I was looking for. Great idea, great size, but they messed up on the design and execution!
