Directions
Bring a pot of salted water to the boil and then reduce to a simmer. Add the Root One Penne and cook for 5 minutes before straining and serving.

Taste is excellent. Hold their shape in cooking but remove the extra starch midway through cooking.
I have bought these before and enjoyed the taste and the opportunity to eat pasta as I cannot tolerate whartaeat and corn. I cook for a few minutes in boiling water while they are still rather too stiff to eat and I turn off the heat. I remove the slightly starchy scum of the surplus starch. They are not mushy, just the air trapped plus surface starch mix together. They continue to swell up to more after turning off and attain a normal sized pasta twist shape and look fine served. Would recommend as they are a brilliant larder standby and quick to cook.

Healthy pasta that tastes great!
Wow, I absolutely loved this. I've tried other gluten free pasta bought from the supermarkets and they tasted of carboard. This is so much better and it's great to know that it's high in protein but lower in carbs too. Highly recommended.

This pasta is unusual but we enjoyed it, the texture is different a little grainy maybe and it does have an unusual taste. I did notice I didn't feel as bloated after it. It is quite expensive so the last time I had it I used half chickpea and half doves brown rice pasta and I think I preferred it that way. Good delivery time too.

I bought these as they will no longer be made and I love the pasta... so not impressed that they are out of date in less than a month.
