This is a book for developing android apps using the free program "App Inventor". Nothing more nothing less. Make money!

It is easy to understand. It is really easy to follow, and imitate. I like the writing style of the author.

this book is very useful if you want to learn to use MIT's App Inventor, the computational capabilities of the software are a bit limited. However, this book provides very comprehensive and easy to understand steps to learn how to create your own apps. For $7 I would definitely recommend it.

An older version but it was a great introduction in MIT creation of mobile apps. I look forward to getting to know more of exploringMIT android app building. This was a good book and I hope to learn more.

this book should be pulled off the sail shelves as it is a study guide to an app righting program that has been discontinued. the book tells you to look for items that are no longer there and you can not get past that point as it continues to send you to places that are not there any moor!

This is my third book in this series on computer programming. I like the easy to understand language and the illustrations, the examples are well thought out and add to the book. There are many books in this series

Superb author and written with many pictures! Super book for anyone wanting to write apps for the Android device. Nice book.

Leaves a lot of information out of the book. youwont complete complex tasks withthe book itself

You don't have to buy anything else to be writing Android apps 30 minutes after picking up this book and you may even see them on your smartphone, though you don't even need one! Using the FREE Appinventor for Android, available from, and supported by, MIT, this book takes you through most of the functions the Appinventor system can give you.The only fault I'd pick, which is very subjective anyway, is that he's telling you what you can do, giving you one example and moving on. This may not be a problem for you, and the book is best used from page 1 onwards, rather than what I wanted, which was more of a reference. And I didn't have the time to give to doing the work properly, I would recommend following the instructions and then playing about with the results, making it do something different. Spending time on playing would be rewarded.

Really helped during my university dissertation.Great for beginners.

You will learn more from using the MIT APP website than this book. I am a fan of this book series but this is absolutely unbelievable poor.
