I absolutely love these kites. I've had several. When the strings get out of alignment the kite will not fly. These kites have 2 guides that when put in the proper place keep your strings from getting messed up. There's also an elastic band to hold the tails when you wrap them up. Very helpful.

I purchased this kite for my toddler and our trips to the park or beach. Sea animals are always a big hit and this was no exception. The kite is overall perfect for her. It's structured well so that it easily captures air and we were able to fly it in very light wind.The string is plenty long so that we can let it get high and the supports don't get tangled. We even crashed it several times on accident and I was very impressed with the durability. It packs away pretty small, so it's easy for transport and storage when not in use.The quality of the material is overall good, but I did notice a few spots where the seams look weaker. It has not affected the flight and things seem to be holding up pretty well. Overall, I would highly recommend the kite to anyone interested.

Too many strings attached for a child would be awesome for an adult.

This is a really well-made kite. It seems durable. Easy to fly. My son loves sea creatures, so this is extra fun for him.

I love the look of these kites. I did look at the specs, but I didn't realistically realize how big it would be. It will be great when we get them in the air, because it'll be able to get up high and still be obvious for what it is. I love that it's an octopus. I don't think I ever would have thought of an octopus kite, but once I saw it I was sold. Unfortunately we have not had a sufficiently windy day for kite flying, so I haven't had it in the air yet. But, based on the string placement and design, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't fly. String assembly and such is very easy to do.The only thing that I feel the need to warn about is the little rubber thing you need to move around to store and to fly. Its made to move up for storage, so the strings don't get tangled, and down for flying, so the strings spread appropriately to fly. It is kind of difficult to get up and down. I don't consider this a negative, because it does the job it's intended to do. Just putting it out there in case trying to drag a tiny piece of rubber up and down several strings is a deal breaker for you.

This kite was a hit on the beaches of Rhode Island! It was easy to tie the strings on and easy to fly. It is the perfect theme for flying by the ocean. The octopus tentacles look so cool flying and flapping in the air- a major upgrade compared to a single tail kite. The colors are bright and can be seen clearly from in the air. A total win!

This kite is adorable. It's perfect to take to the park and fly there. Like others have said, it has a different structure than the typical kite type. Our toddler loves playing with it. The colors are bright and since it's an unusual shape, it is fun to take out.

I ordered this for a young kid who was visiting. It was definitely a hit! The kite is super cute. We all loved the flying tentacles of the octopus. Would definitely order again for kids.
