Royal Worcester Evesham Gold Mugs, Apple and Blackcurrant

All our previous Evesham china came from Worcester, where we used to live. This is from Bangladesh, apparently, but my wife was pleased to receive it as a birthday gift. It is apparently microwave-save but the packaging was silent on whether it could be washed in the dishwasher. The company website suggests that dishwasher-safe is now taken for granted, but it would have been helpful to have it spelled out. They are still pretty designs, if a sign of a changing world.

We started collecting Royal Worcester dishes over 50 years ago, so it is no surprise that the occasional item needs to be replaced ! These mugs are not exactly a match, pattern-wise, but are every bit as good as those they are replacing. Excellent service, arrived earlier than promised - we know where to go for next time !

I have received my order today and was surprised to see just one mug in the parcel. The description on the listing said that it comes as a set of 4, which I thought was a bargain for that price with the discount mentioned, but to my disappointment only one mug was dispatched. The mug itself is beautiful though and was well packed.I would definitely buy from Dawsons again, but would expect them to update the description correctly.
