Review: Great artwork and Lore for the 40k fan in me - If you are a fan of the Warhammer 40k universe, you should get this book. On one hand it is a shameless catalogue screaming BUY MORE MODELS! On the other hand it is a great resource for lore for all the armies, and has some really stunning full page artwork. And the featured models are great for color schemes and inspiration. It has about 70 pages of rules and scenarios to play, but is a rather rules lite version compared to previous editions. I have the ‘98 edition and it covers in depth rules for line of sight, cover, and movement, and this is not present here. All in all I would recommend this book, just realize you may have to go looking for rules elsewhere, though it’s a quick search online. Enemies of the Emperor and Mankind abound. Hope is a fallacy.
