This table runner is quite lovely with wildflowers on a cream background. The fabric is listed as 100% linen; it's woven with a largish weave and it glistens. There is no tag on it that gives the washing instructions. Those are on the package; I took a photo and posted it with this review after digging it out of the trash when I realized there wasn't a care tag on the runner itself. I figured most people who bought it would, like me, toss the bag and not realize until later that there isn't a care tag. You're welcome! The fabric is fairly stiff and feels almost plastic-y on the back although, as noted, it says it's 100% linen. I guess the way the linen thread is made creates that feel. I plan to use this to decorate our dining table this spring, but I will remove it before we eat at the table because I don't think the runner will respond well to frequent cleanings. As for recommending this... I don't regret getting it but it's not the best quality nor likely to last well without very careful handling. It is really pretty.

My wife is crazy over this runner. It fits nicely on a side table. This runner is both beautiful and classy.
