Brilliant item and easy to install

Very disappointed – jammed after just one week
I bought this nightlatch hoping for security and reliability, but I was deeply disappointed. After only one week of use, the mechanism jammed and it became extremely difficult to open the door with the key. We had no choice but to reinstall our old lock just to be able to enter and leave the house without hassle.The product promises high security and quality, backed by a 5-year warranty, but the reality was quite the opposite. I did not expect such poor performance from something that is supposed to keep our home safe.Unfortunately, this was a waste of time and money for us.Not recommended.

Make sure before you start every thing is OK
I coundn't fit lock till I make some repairs to hole in the door so it will fitCheck

Okay lock, shame about the instructions and template.
The lock is fine, not the highest quality but for the price I was happy. However, the template and instructions enclosed were for a different lock. I obediently used the template provided to mark out the door, drilled two screw pilot holes and a 32mm hole to accommodate the barrel. Only when I offered up the lock did I discover that the holes, although accurate according to the template, didn't match the lock at all. I had redrill for the lock provided, using my own measurements from the unit. Problem is I now have a 32mm hole in the door that I cannot use - all due to the wrong template being supplied.

Last time I read the instructions
Made rhe mistake of using the template on the instructions to line up the hole to drill for the barrel. Not sure what lock the template was for but certainly not for the lock I bought. Oh and the instruction for cutting the barrel arm was incorrect and resulted in being too short. I'd have been better not reading the instructions.

As easy as 1 2 3
No messing around with back plates and trying to fit the night catch back on to plate. NONE OF THAT. So easy as I was just replacing my door lock. Simply put in the drum cylinder screwed on the little plate then put on the night catch lock with 3 simple screws and same with the lock housing that goes on the frame.

Lasted a couple of days
Lasted a couple of days before it started to become difficult to unlock with both the key and the latch. The mechanism stuck and couldn't properly open the door without a lot of force. Upon replacing found the metal part that connects the keyway to the latch was badly twisted (probably because of the force being used to open the lock). Poorly made and got a refund. Would recommend paying a little bit more for a better brand.
