It’s great!
I love it! It was easy to connect to my wifi and set up the account. The picture quality is amazing! The sound is a bit off- must be picking up background noise, but if i dont have very loud I can still hear the birds chirping. Which is what you want! I automatically get bird identification, which I needed, since I’m not much of a bird watcher in general. It comes with a solar charger which we aren’t using. I had hoped it would connect to the device but it doesn’t. If my bird feeder was on a post I could have the solar charger connected. We are using a pole with a baffle to keep squirrels away.I have charged it up one evening since the birds aren’t feeding then. I don’t think. And the next day we put it up again. Easy! We both love it. I expect to recharge it once a week at night.

Works great
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this feeder and a solar panel in the Spring of 2024. It was very easy to set up and the birds flocked to it. The app is very intuitive. The video has been very good quality. The AI bird identification is not very accurate at times (sometimes it is way off), but I understand that is the same with other brands. If you take the time to submit what the actual bird ID is, I understand the AI will learn and get better over time. I moved the feeder to my deck railing for the winter so it would be closer for filling (I am in Massachusetts). The solar panel is keeping the camera charged, even with the shorter winter days. I use sunflower hearts and peanuts and have to fill the feeder every day. The birds are there non-stop. I even have a family of Eastern Bluebirds that come to feast. I did try the nectar attachment for hummingbirds over the summer but there was too much bird activity for the hummingbirds. I eventually purchased a smart hummingbird feeder which luckily uses the same app.

Cute feeder, great camera and app!
This bird feeder is a snap to put together. The opening for the seed is in the top rear, and the locking clasp is a little awkward to open. The seed chamber design is shallow and partly taken up by the camera, and it is easy to have seed spillage when loading. This feeder doesn't hold as much as I'd hoped so I have to fill it daily. The water perch, fruit forks are great. I can't comment on the hummingbird feeders b/c I haven't used them.Camera images are very clear, and the B/W night images are great. I love the features being able to turn a light on, sound a brief alarm or use the speaker to talk - we've played some practical jokes on a few squirrels! I planned on only using it for bird watching (and squirrels naturally) but it's great to keep an eye on the backyard. I don't need to pay for the app's cloud storage, the free version is great. You can download videos that you like and share in messages. It just keeps a few days worth depending on how you configured the app settings. The only real reason to remove a star is because of the solar charger cable. It should have been reinforced where the cable connects to the charging panel (it's fixed, not removable). The usb-c cable (it comes with adapters) is easily chewed by wild animals. Even under warranty the seller won't replace it, or at least offer a coupon to verified purchasers for a discounted replacement. (They currently charge $29, but other sellers offer very similar chargers for far less).I recommend using tie wraps to secure any extra cable and to wrap the area where the cable is connected to the panel with heavy duty tape (or better yet, use wire shrink wrap tubing) to fortify the cable at it's weakest point. Otherwise it's a great, lightweight solar charger!I love this feeder and have no regrets buying it but wish I'd reinforced the cable when I first installed it. Now that I see how it's put together, I'll probably buy a separate outdoor camera like a Wyze, and a separate solar panel charger and install in a different bird feeder (one that's metal)!!

Bird feeder
Great for watching birds with video, wish I could keep the pigeons away from it but other than that it’s easy to install and camera works great

Perfect for the bird lover
This was a gift for my mom who loves to watch the birds. At 78 years old it’s nice to be able to see the birds without having constantly get up and go to the window. Every time a bird comes for a snack or a drink the app alerts her and she can watch it up close.
