I bought these early and should’ve tested them. Didn’t know they didn’t work until I set up for my party on Feb 28th.

This is a very basic strip of SMD3528 LEDs in a warm white color. The color doesn't change and these just require any 12v power source to operate, including your car's battery. I installed these lights in my kitchen pantry to a 12v adapter with a magnetic switch so anytime I open the pantry door it lights up the entire area, which is normally very dark. The lights come with 2 plastic connectors that allow you to attach pieces together but you can also cut the pieces where the 4 copper dots are and solder wires, it's easy if you have a soldering iron.As far as the quality of this light strip, it's just like all the other single color LED strips I've used, although these lights are spaced fairly close together, about an inch apart so it almost looks like a long light strip from a distance and when placed under a table it emits a nice smooth glow. Build quality seems good but it could take years before I notice any failure and I have some white LED lights in another part of my house that are on for about 6 hours every day on a timer and they've been on for over 5 years and are still going strong.Note: I want to be clear that a power supply is NOT provided with these lights. Some of us were provided a power supply for the review but it's clear from the last item on the item description as well as a label on the power supply that says "test only" that it is not included with the package. Normally I don't like to talk about this sort of thing in my reviews and I don't like to criticize other reviewers but I wanted to set the expectation so you aren't disappointed when you receive these lights and aren't sure how to power them. The good news is power supplies are affordable and readily available on Amazon and in the case if your car, you can't wire this right to your 12v power without any adapter if you are able to solder or use a splice connector. You can get AC power supplies with or without a remote, and some can be controlled via WiFi from your phone if you want.Overall, I'm happy with this LED strip. Warm color is easy on the eyes and it seems to be high quality. The strip is about 16 feet long and one was plenty long enough to light up my pantry but you can connect strips together if you need more length, as long as your power supply can supply enough current. I'm not sure of the exact specs but you will probably want a 1.5-2A power supply for one strip and 4-5A for 2 strips and you can always go higher, it only uses as much as it needs as long as it's 12v DC.

The lights are perfect for what I needed. The only problem I have they will not stay in place. The sticky tape is not strong enough. Otherwise, they are perfect.

First of all, these are not waterproof. Do not plan to put these outdoors. That being said, they are super easy to install. I lined a wall shelf with these. Thankfully they come rolled around a tube and you merely unroll them as you go along. This prevents damage and tangling. You take the adhesive off the back and press it against where you want it. There's a plug in box though that is super heavy, much too heavy for this strand of lights and it needs to be in a location that doesn't allow it to pull. Sadly my shelf is middle of the wall and so the electric box is dangling between the wall and the floor and it pull the lights down, so I must tape the box to the wall or put a piece of furniture there to stop the box's weight from pulling all my lights down. So think about that before installing. Once installed and plugged in, they're very lovely. Great light display. I can see this being used to light up artwork too. Kitchen cabinets. Etc. The adhesive could be stronger though.*Edit* Within two days my lights completely fell off the shelf. The adhesive is junk. Not impressed. Threw them away.

We have fluorescent under cabinet lighting that is starting to act up so I thought I would do a trial run with this LED tape light.I really like how it comes with an adhesive backing. This makes the peel and stick installation very simple. Its a name brand adhesive so I am confident it wont just peel off in a few months.The light coming from the strip is very white and pretty bright given the small footprint. Most of the lights in our kitchen are in the 2700k-3000k range and this strip seems cooler, maybe in the 4000k range, but not 100% sure. These are not our only light sources in the room but they add that extra light level at task height. The roll we received came ready with two end types, one plug in and one for wiring in depending on your power supply.Will definitely be ordering another spool soon to use in my wood shop. Great set of lights.

Doesn’t come with power supply

Very pleased with this product.The lights were easy to install with good quality adhesive backing. The light provided is warm and bright.Shipping was fast and customer service was excellent.

This is a basic 16’ LED light strip with a quick connect on one end. The LEDs are bright and cast a warm light (rated at 3000k, but I would’ve thought 2700k). There is no noticeable flicker and all my LEDs work properly.Unfortunately, the backing is 3M 300LSE adhesive tape which (in my experience) only lasts a week or so before beginning to peel off. For this reason, I’ve held off mounting until I find a more reliable way of getting the strip to stick.As with other indoor-rated light strips, these light strips can only be bent in one dimension, so plan your run accordingly. As mentioned above, I’d strongly recommend mounting in a way that you aren’t relying on the included double-sided tape… consider sticking it up but adding a piece of tape every couple feet.The strip can also be cut a predefined areas (every 3 LEDs or 2”), keeping in mind that what you cut off essentially becomes garbage. The strip terminates at one of these cut points, and there is no easy way to link this to another light strip.This kit only includes the light strip, the power supply is sold separately. Take a look at the RGBW kits from Signcomplex as they also include a power supply and (as of the posting of this review) only cost a few dollars more.Overall, this is a good light strip, I just wish it had a better backing tape.

Bought for the backboard for my ikea bed frame. Worked great. Purchased the adapter as well to plugged them into an outlet.
