PrincetonSelect Artiste Paintbrush, Size 3/0, Blue

I am very impressed by the quality of the Princeton Select line. I have other dedicated watercolor brushes, as I find these do not hold much water, but I still love these brushes for gouache. The handles are a hard, sturdy plastic, and the ferrule seems to have been glued tightly. Hairs are a sturdy but flexible synthetic that have stood up to my constant scraping against dried gouache and textured watercolor papers. I had originally bought a few in-store several months ago, and they have held up so well that I have purchased this pack for my younger brother to use with gouache. Quality is exactly the same, and he loves them with his new paints as well.

Perfect for what they are. Not fancy, and also better quality (after a couple of weeks) than the price would suggest.

Good brushes, no issues

I am new to watercolor but was having a hard time with the brushes I already had so I decided to buy these. What a difference a brush makes I may have given up if I had not had found a nicer brush. I definitely recommend these brushes

These brushes are perfect for any detailed painting project

I had high hopes, but I found that these brushes did not hold up particularly well to use with fluid acrylics. It wasn’t long before the tips were disappearing and they weren’t really holding their shape. I won’t buy again, alas.
