These heel cups provide good support but not for severe pain. My son is a runner and has occasional mild pain and I gave him these to put in his sneakers. They seem to work and releave the pain. He is satisfied with them and uses the second pair in his work shoes. All and all they do the job but are not miracle cures for heel pain.

So here's the downside to this just being a heel insert. You can't remove the entire insole of the shoe. You just have to put this on top of whatever is already there. That case it makes your shoe a lot tighter or made my shoe keep slipping off because my heel was above the back curve of the shoe. In theory it feels comfortable to walk on but I can't keep my shoes on and the ones I can keep on. It's uncomfortable now because the shoe is too tight. I guess what I'm saying is I would prefer to buy a full insert that has a heel thicker.

So far I've just worn these placed inside my shoes and not stuck down, but they worked very well at eliminating the heel pain I usually end up with at the end of the day. I need to wear shoes with arch support, but also need heel cushion as I have lots of spurs. You get two pairs, which is nice to be able to switch out shoes. They actually stayed in place without sticking them down, so I may just use them like that so I could change shoes, but they may have more cushion if you remove the plastic cover over the glue.

I wore these in my riding boots and they helped a little. I have something going on with my heel where any steps are extremely painful. These helped about 75% with the pain with each step.These fit easily in any boot/ shoe and the adhesive backing stays put. These fit as expected into my footwear.These are okay and worked a bit for my painful foot but weren't as good as some other. They are a decent price for the two pairs.

These heel cups do add some cushioning, but they're not very comfortable. I can feel the edges and contours with every step, though, to be fair, my feet are very sensitive. I tried putting them under the shoe insole, which made them more comfortable, but then there seemed to be less cushioning. The price is decent, but next time I'll go for one of the silicone cups for better comfort and cushioning.
