A great resin for your 3D printer
I have several 3D resin printers which include a couple of Creality models so I thought I would give the Official Creality Standard 3D Printer Resin a shot. I am glad I did as it is a really good resin. As with all resins, you do need to dial the settings in, so I always recommend printing a small test print. Once you have it dialed in, the prints look amazing.Speaking of settings, I always start with the manufacturers recommended settings and then make small changes to one parameter at a time. The biggest difference that I usually see with the test prints is the exposure time per layer. After using the resin for a while now, I can say that it is one of the better resins that I have used but I am somewhat new to using resin printers (I do, however, have about a dozen FDM printers). The Official Creality Standard 3D Printer Resin is a good resin, and I can recommend it.

Works great w/ Mica Powder
I picked up this clear resin with the intention of mixing in mica powder for a trippy mesmerizing look. It worked like a charm and I had no problem tuning this in. I do recommend lowering your curing and exposure times since clear resin does both quicker than darker resins.

Great name brand resin
Normally you buy name brand to take the guessing out of things. Because of that, I would have liked recommended settings printed somewhere. Otherwise, once I played around with it a little bit I got it to print and it went well enough. Still have more tweaking to do though.

A little yellow.
The transparency of this resin is really neat, but I notice a slight yellow tint to it. It is still transparent though, and it looks really cool. It didn't smell too bad while printing, better than some resins. It actually has pretty decent durability. I also love that the bottle has a giant cap, making it easy to put the resin back in the bottle. One thing to note is that there is no seal on the bottle, so be aware of that when opening it for the first time.

Great resin for additives
I've only ever used 3rd party resins on my Halot One, so figured I'd give the name brand a try to see if the results were any different; they came out about the same, but for the price this resin did as well as I could hope!I usually print with transparent, as I have plenty of dye and powders to add the effects without having to commit to a bottle of one type, and they stayed in suspension well in this resin. I did initially have issues with cloudiness, but that was down to an issue with the curing that was easily fixed with a second brushed on coat and cure. With the official stuff, the profiles were much easier to dial in with the crealoty app, so this definitely takes the fuss and reprinting out for those that would rather just pour and go!
