Handbook of Positive Prayer

I must confess I am biased. Rev. Hasbrouck was my Bible Fundamentals instructor in Seminary. I bought the handbook several years later, and have used it and given it and recommended it to dozens of people through the years. It is just a fresh now as it was years ago. If you want to know how, when, where and why to bring your thoughts to a higher plane, this is the book for you. She explains how to form releasing statements for any kind of problem and then how to form affirmative statements for those same problems. I have hardbound and e reader copies for my own use.

I highly recommend this book. I will never be without it.

After reading this book you will be excited to pray! Prayer is no longer a chore! This is a great book that teaches affirmative prayer and grounding yourself as and in the Divine. The author goes into great detail in order to aid the reader in enacting effective prayers using denials and affirmations based in Truth. This is a great New Thought prayer instruction, in fact, it could easily be a class on its own. It is packed with information.

I was recommended this book by a fellow congregant. I had not heard of Hypatia Hasbrouck before. I was looking for some background information to add to the lesson I was preparing. This book is full of great wisdom, wonderful ceremonies and helpful explanations. I enjoyed the simple, straightforward writing, and the outcomes full of intention. I enjoyed just paging through, as well as reading each line with clarity and fulfilment. A good book for those already on their Spiritual path, as well as those just starting out.

Positive Prayer was a used book delivered on time and in an "almost new" condition. Thanks again to Amazon. Starting from the top, you can see this is a religious book of some type and the title says what to expect. Having said that, I found it was well-organized and put together to help those seeking the prayer they were looking for. The author has a great background which assures the reader that she knows what she can do to help and her writing indeed offers just that. Me? Yes, I found much to help and also interesting items I was pleased to read. If you are reaching out for that special prayer to use, Hypatia Hasbrouk is extending her hand to you.
