Pinnacle Studio 21 Plus and Ultimate Revealed

Having used an earlier Jeff Naylor tutorial book for Pinnacle(14) before I had no hesitation in ordering this one. Pinnacle 16 is so far removed from the previous versions of Studio that it can be very frustrating trying to suss out the entire program using only the manual that comes on the disc.This is where Jeff Naylor (IMHO) excels. He guides you through the whole process from install to advanced usage using a working example video, giving you invaluable keyboard shortcuts and time saving techniques along the way. The time and frustration saved (learning about this software) is worth the asking price lone.I'd also like to add a thank you to Amazon who promptly sent me a replacement book free of charge when the first one failed to arrive in the post.

I have got Pinnacle 18 by the same author, a lot of that is repeated in Pinnacle 21. I have got the Pinnacle 22 Ultimate programme and I would prefer if it was possible, to have an update book by the same author that just includes instructions on how to operate the new features only. It is very expensive to have to purchase this type of book for every new features produced by Pinnacle. I had only just purchased Pinnacle 22 Ultimate when version 23 suddenly appeared on the scene.

You will definatly need this book to get the best out of Pinnacle Studio 16. It has easy to follow instructions. I have been using Studio since version 8 and this book still brings out a few suprises I did not know about.

This is a great companion to Studio 16 software. The book takes you through the stages of using the software, and utilises the short movie included in Studio 16.There are tips included to help workaround the shortcomings in Studio - namely burning disks.If you need a step-by-step guide to the software - don't hesistate to buy.

This book is excellent I wish all software came with manuals like this it would help make the whole learning process more enjoyable.If you have the editing suite this is a must have!!!

The work includes much detail but seems to be pitched at the first time user when many of us are upgrading and have a good working knowledge of previous versions of Studio. To understsand the workings of the programme, if you were a new comer then it would take a month of Sundays to read and understand these words.Being a user of a previous version (Studio 12) I have not found it easy to access key elements of the new programme from these words - the indexing is rather hit and miss and the text is often page full with little emphasis for scan reading - its not a novel but a reference work!So lots to improve but if you have the month of Sundays I suspect the information is here somewhere

Answered a few questions and am learning all the time would recommend this book to anyone wanting to advance their videos.

I only give it thee stars because there is too much American influence and so much that you would never use . I have used Pinnacle since version 9 plus and found the same thing, I barely used 20% of the Titles and transitions. This new version is the same old same old. Sport is almost all American. The fact that there is no written manual to read before installing so you don't get all you photos and videos installed would have been nice. Overall it has more features and I like the Montage section. A little annoyed you have to BUY a book to learn how to use this product because it is not cheap but it does everything you need.

This is really a great book to learn how to get the best results from Pinnacle Studio 21. I bought this book in December 2017 when I upgraded from Pinnacle Studio 20 to 21. I have been using Pinnacle Studio for about 10 years, it is stable, powerful editor. About a year ago I upgraded from Studio14 to Studio 20. I sure wish I had bought a Jeff Naylor book sooner to help with the learning curve. Pinnacle Studio 20 was a totally different product than Studio 14.

If you want to make a jump start with Pinnacle Studio 21 you can't do without this book. It contains all the necessary information and will answer all your questions. Guaranteed.

The guide book provides insightful information on various controls/features of studio 16 ultimate. The last version I used was studio 12, and I found 16 was almost like using new software. Even though the booked provided guidance it's not complete which is why it only got 4 stars.

Passer de Studio 12 à Studio 16 est loin d'être évident. Le logiciel a gagné en fonctionnalités mais a perdu en ergonomie. Pour bénéficier de la richesse de ce logiciel, il m'est apparu indispensable de disposer d'un ouvrage. Le seul que j'ai trouvé est ce livre en anglais. Jusqu'à maintenant, j'ai bien retrouvé la correspondance entre les copies d'écran du livre et celles de mon logiciel. Cependant attention, car tout ce qui est indiqué se rapporte à un clavier QWERTY : exemple quand il est écrit CTRL-[, il faut traduire par CTRL-^.Ce livre ne dispose pas de DVD, aussi pour les exercices, aller sur le site internet indiqué.Regret : dommage que ce livre soit en noir et blanc
