Here on Molokai we are lucky to be surrounded by hundreds of Axis deer who shed their antler every year for us to find. In 1868 axis deer were introduced to the island of Molokai as a gift from Hong Kong to King Kamehameha V. They are native to India and Sri Lanka. My husband created this beautiful hair pick out of an antler that had been hanging on a friends fence for years. It has a very vintage look to it. He has meticulously hand sanded it to bring out its natural beauty. It measures 8 inches long and 3/8 inches wide. Handmade with Aloha on the Island of Molokai. Custom orders are always welcome.
