Fun option for calendar and nice variety of spices.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a dear friend, and she called to tell me how much she loves it. She likes to cook and said she knows she will try out all of the spices. She’s never had an Advent calendar before and said it is such a fun gift. I highly recommend this, especially if you’re looking for a special gift for a foodie friend.

Fairly decent spread of spices, not a lot of specialty flavors but good nonetheless.

Ordered this for my nephew who is now a teenager loves to cook! The advent came in a beautiful black box that opened like a book! It was amazing quality and the spices were the perfect little size!

Neither of the recipients were thrilled with this - both wanted to avoid sweets and one really needed spices. They didn’t strike me as super fresh or fragrant and the selection wasn’t as complete with the basics, or offering any really great surprises either.

I totally expected the spices to be in cheap plastic bags. Pleasantly surprised, very nice plastic containers with printed label of the daily spice. My daughter LOVES this advent calendar! She has used the potato spice and curry spice and loves them both. Only on day 6.

We got this for one of our adult kiddos and spent 3x’s as much for this as we did for everyone else. Many of the spices are clumped together according to him.

The gourmet spice mixes, in the photos for this item on Amazon, are not in the actual box. The items included are everyday spices like black pepper, oregano, parsley, paprika etc. I would not have paid this price or placed an order for this item if I had known. Please consider whether you would like the spices included in my photo here before purchasing.
