13S BMS 48V 30A Li-ion PCB Protection Board with Balance Wire and NTC,Ten Functional protections, Common Port, for Solar Energy Storage, Balance Car Lithium-ion Battery Pack (13S 48V 30A)

I was initially skeptical of the tight tolerances the manufacturer calls for on initial cell voltage and resistance, but haven't had any issues starting with cells that have just been charged and are the same type. I was initially skeptical of the b- and p- port placements, but I've come to like the design as it separates the wiring and allows you to run the p+ in line with the p- line along the pack.

I was hopping to use this with one of the open source BMS control programs on github, like the JK-BMS projects. Sadly, this doesn't have and data communication lines like the JK BMS's. There are a set of through hole connections that could go to an optional connector, but the lines are labeled B-, SW, En, and B+. This port likely just gives you the ability to remotely enable and disable balancing, but likely won't provide any smart control with a BMS protocol. Still, the built quality on this BMS is excellent, and I've read a lot of good things about this brand's performance. Enjoy.
