Adjustable Dog Elizabeth Collar - Latest Upgrade Pet Protective Cone With Soft Edge for Anti-Bite Lick, Surgery or Wound Healing (XXXL)

Our dog just destroyed a prior ecollar, the plastic was too brittle. The plastic on this collar is more flexible and thicker than the prior collar. I also like the design, its not too tall so our dog can walk around the house without bumping into furniture. The collar has good quality strips at top and bottom which keep the plastic from digging into skin. It's a little hard to take off the velco is massively sticky, but I suppose that will mean that the velcro will keep the collar closed.

I bought this for my sweet girl to stop her from biting herself and/or from licking off some lotion on her. Does the job, sturdy material & does not break easily. It does have a few marks as she tried to scratch herself with her back legs but it's still intact. The only negative thing is when taking it off, the sounds really irritates her ears as it is velcro.

... to use, so it is very difficult to reroll correctly for a proper fit. The velcro is a hassle and scares the crap out of my dog when putting it on. The edges are cushioned well, and I am able to customize this to my little rat terrier. A good value that is packaged horribly and without any thought.

I prefer this cone (furthest left, all black cat) because 1) it works, 2) came with no extra stickers, 3) trim around edge is soft and waterproof, similar in texture to naugahyde or pleather.After evaluating many options and reviews on the 'Zon, this cone was not only cheaper than others (less than half) but came with the least crap attached to the cone itself. All the other cones ordered included extra paper and stickers that get ruined with water and cat licking and limit visibility but it's not like the cones are clear either, they're frosted/semitransparent.All of the adjustable, hook and loop (aka Velcro), cones ordered have worked great, just save yourself money and the problem of additional stickers with this perfect, simple recovery cone.

Kept my dog from chewing her paws until they were able to heal. She has developed food allergies and I switched up her food, but she wouldn't let her feet heal from where she had chewed them. I couldn't keep booties on her anymore because she had learned how to get them off. This allowed her to finish healing, she lie comfortably with it on, and it stayed on.

I bought the largest size and my lab was still able to get to his stitches just because this product bends so easily.

A very nice cone. Sturdy and flexible and the edging is soft so it isn’t jamming into your face or body, or scratching the walls if it comes in contact. Enough flexibility so even the dog likes it. It doesn’t have clips to attach to a collar, which I briefly worried about, but simply putting collar INSIDE the cone makes it stay. The Velcro is wide and super strong. No slipping l, even after 6 days. I highly recommend this cone.
